Title: Which Song Was Stuck In Your Head This Morning?

Outofmymind - March 21, 2007 01:29 PM (GMT)
I for some reason kept hearing "Free" in my head.

robyns - March 21, 2007 01:33 PM (GMT)
I have been singing Take My Breath Away since last night-- my 5 year old has been singing Movin On for days

lindagt - March 21, 2007 01:34 PM (GMT)
For some strange reason I woke up to the beginning of "I'm The Man". It's funny - I love them all, but I think of some as more artistry than others - but it's the ones that I don't think as much about that get stuck in my head!

Rutti - March 21, 2007 02:17 PM (GMT)
I'll Make you Dance, one of the TArget bonus tracks. Has a sort of disco, Earth, Wind & Fire vibe. I love it!!!!

wowhesgood - March 21, 2007 02:47 PM (GMT)
Arrrrggg!!! I've got to get to Target. Don't have a work reason to head to the city (90 mile away) and hit Target while I'm there. :( Weekend trip I guess and I hope there are cds available!

goelliott - March 21, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)

Me too! it always starts with the "alright, alright" for some reason. I've caught myself singing it before even realizing what it is.

Tara_Cea - March 21, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
One Word , I'm the Man, You Are the One...I know, the super mushy songs, hehe.
Anyone else almost in tears? What has this man done to me?!? lol

elliottsbabe - March 21, 2007 05:27 PM (GMT)
I'm the Man has to be probably my favorite so far.

SingItE - March 21, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
LOL......my husband said he was singing Wait For You in the shower before he turned on his radio

This AM surprisingly mine was You Take My Breath Away.

My little boy LOVES Movin On but I think he's kind of a sucker for a sound he gets used to and for a while Movin' On was all we had.

Moody's lovechild - March 21, 2007 06:14 PM (GMT)
I'm only on my fourth time through the cd but I'd have to say"You are the one" seem to pop into my noggin the most.

mama4elliott - March 21, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
Still completely in love with You Are the One...the acoustic version is the BEST! :thud: :thud:
also startin to love Trainwreck.... :rocker:

Rodek - March 21, 2007 06:49 PM (GMT)
Mayb eit's because I watched Regis and Kelly so many times, but I still have Wait For You stuck in my head. :)

Miss_DreadLox - March 21, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
"Find a Way" :lotsolove: makes my head bob when the drums start kicking at the very beginning of the record. Makes me wanna boogie-down when Elliott starts to sing! :dude:

Sheebs - March 21, 2007 08:53 PM (GMT)
'Free'

EmJay321 - March 21, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
It alternated between "Free" and "Take My Breath Away," but mostly "Free."

Elliottfan27 - March 21, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
"You are the one", my husband LOVES "I'm the man". :rocker:

jogr - March 21, 2007 09:02 PM (GMT)
Free!!

DeniseK - March 21, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
I've been humming his songs all day!!! That song "Alright" has become my new house cleaning song!!! You should all see me trying to dance like I knew how!!! LOL :rotfl: Yes, I thought that once Elliott's CD came out I might calm down about him. Wrong, I feel like American Idol all over again!!! This young man really has pazzaz, cause I can't get him out of my mind!!! What's wrong with me, I'm too old for this!!! :thud:

arkansas_E_fan - March 21, 2007 09:58 PM (GMT)
I walked into work this morning singing "Wait for You".

Rutti - March 21, 2007 11:18 PM (GMT)
I'll Make you Dance is the one that was stuck in my head this morning. However, I think my favorite right now is Take My Breath Away. But I reserve the right to change my mind. LOL!!! I've gotten so I walk around all day with a silly grin on my face and people keep asking me what's up. I'm embarrassed to tell them it's Elliott's music - they already think I'm nutso.

tralalara - March 21, 2007 11:20 PM (GMT)
"I'm in love with you forever"

I love it.

I love the jam at the end.

Good hook, positive lyrics, love the melody, great beat......I think it would be a great single.

But that's just my opinion, for what it's worth.

WFY is stuck in my head....and it's making me sad (don't ask).

lovinelliott23 - March 22, 2007 01:56 AM (GMT)
"Free" was stuck in my head most of the day, but later on "I'm The Man" was. But I've been thinking about all of them really, those are the ones that were stuck in my head.

"One Word" I have been singing that one and "Trainwreck" these two are my absolute favorites.

One Word!

tjvalerio - March 22, 2007 07:14 AM (GMT)
Find A Way and I'm The Man are stuck this day.

VACellist - March 22, 2007 11:42 AM (GMT)
Definately "Free" The lyric moreso than the tune.

It would be "I'll Make You Dance" if I had the Target CD in my possession, haven't been able to score that one yet! That seemed to be one of the faves at the listening party as well! (Gotta love that funky white boy!)

:rocker:

lindagt - March 22, 2007 11:50 AM (GMT)
This morning - it's Find A Way

sherwood - March 22, 2007 12:03 PM (GMT)
From the snippets I've heard *sniff* One Word and Free.

Someone at work mentioned today that something had arrived from Amazon; I got all excited, but it was only a book.

itslate - March 22, 2007 12:47 PM (GMT)
Wait for you absolutely. I overslept 40 min and the alarm playing BenFM had just went off. Now I have to check and see if they finally played it or I was just dreaming. :rotfl:

My 11yo was singing Movin On this morning to the CD in the car, almost as off key as myself... but it's so cute hearing him sing it.

Soccerma - March 22, 2007 12:57 PM (GMT)
Trainwreck was playing in my head this morning.

yellin4yamin - March 22, 2007 01:42 PM (GMT)
I can't help but notice it, your fine as fine can be,
and when your out there on the floor gonna break my neck to see,
I'm trying to control myself, but your hot as hot can be
I wanna make my way to you eventually cause baby we can let the music play while were waiting for a song you like, we can take it to the dance floor do whatever makes you feel alright....

I'LL MAKE YOU DANCE!!!!

Got it stuck in my head like a skippin' '45;)

nymphadora - March 22, 2007 03:33 PM (GMT)
It used to be You are the One, but now it's Wait for You.

SoulMusicRocks - March 22, 2007 03:36 PM (GMT)

Yep, that's my favorite too. I use it for my exercize song now. I love the horns and I love the change in tempo and just the liveliness of it. The bonus track from Target "Make you Dance ? sounds good. I hope its on the actually CD.

taj889 - March 23, 2007 07:07 PM (GMT)
We're heading for a Train Wreck! Love it!

elliottbabe - March 23, 2007 07:13 PM (GMT)
i must have listened to the cd at least 10 times...and the more i listen, the more i love FREE and LOVE WILL FIND A WAY.... his voice, and the words are so meaningful.....i didn't love them at first listen. but it grows on you....but i must admit, again....i don't think there's a bad tune on the disc. his heart and soul are right there for all to see and hear....

Benito - March 23, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
JUST LOVE all the songs in Elliott's eponymous CD. But I hate wars and the stupid loss of life, so I'll go for "Find a Way". The Buddha said that the worst karma is the killing of a fellow human being. So, DOWN with stupid wars!

EmJay321 - March 24, 2007 02:39 AM (GMT)
"I'm The Man" - It was the last song I heard in my car before going into work.
