Hi All!

If you've had a chance to listen to bonus tracks, or even better had a chance to listen to a couple of different bonus tracks, please tell us your favorite bonus track, where it's from and why it's your favorite, so members on limited budgets can make the best purchasing decision for them.

Thanks Etrain!

"Sign Your Name" KICKS ASS!!!! :rocker:

Oops, is it okay to say that here?

It is available with purchase of the entire album as a download from Rhapsody (now correctly listed at $11.99).

I also have "Believe" and "Sharing the Night Together," but "Sign Your Name" is amazing for the energy and sex appeal E puts across in singing it. Also, the end of the song really shows off the range of his voice.

I look forward to hearing what others think...

You have Sign Your Name? I've been dying to find that one. I have all the other bonus tracks except for that one! Glad to hear it's good!

wowhesgood - March 21, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
Oh, I want Sign Your Name so, so, so badly!!! I'm going to have to camp in front of my home computer and try to get it. I still need to get a Target cd w/ bonus tracks. I want Sharing the Night Together too but it isn't as high on my list but I do need all of Elliott's music.

Listening to Whiter Shade of Pale right now. Gawd, it is flippin amazing. After all this time I still get goosebumps listening to this man sing....I mean sang!

BJulz - March 21, 2007 08:02 PM (GMT)
Now I really want "Whiter Shade of Pale," too! I wish iTunes sold it separately and/or in a format compatible with non-iPod devices.

I wonder how E chose the bonus songs. Did he get to choose them himself, or was it all about what the managers thought would be most marketable?

Elliott is the first person that I ever voted for on American Idol!!! Now, he is the first artist that I have ever even contemplated buying more thatn one CD!!! I have one from Walmart that gives you free access to the downloads of Train Wreck (Acoustic) and A Song for You (Full Band) and then when I found out about the other different versions, I went to Target and bought one there with the extras of Let Your Heart Lead and I'll Make you Dance. I hope that someone posts what extras are on the one's from Amazon.com. I read somewhere on here about the job of marketing E's managers did. What a job they've done!!! It will surely pan out. Each store can be confident that their's will sell cause we are all bannanas about E and if you are like me, I may even buy another just for the bonus cuts!!!

I sure do hope that our man goes platinum and more! Then I could tell my husband that he's wrong! I think I went too bonkers over Elliott for him, he told me not to get too upset because he didn't think that Elliott would do as well as Chris Daughtry, and would fall by the wayside. :thud: Iwant him to eat those words!!! Rock on Elliott!!! :rocker:

Is it possible for people to post the bonus songs on You Tube so people can hear them. They should consider putting out a 2nd Cd of the bonus songs. The bonus songs on Itunes are both very good. Some incredibe brilliant marketing for E-s CDs. Show Clive how its done guys.

ladycentaur - March 22, 2007 03:45 AM (GMT)
I have all 10 of the bonus songs if someone is missing one...just PM me.

backporchpoet - March 23, 2007 12:04 AM (GMT)
I've got 6 of the bonus tracks - the only ones I don't have are "Sign Your Name," "Train Wreck (Acoustic)" and "A Song For You (Full Band)."

First of all, the Target tracks are very good - "Let Your Heart Lead" is beautiful and heartfelt, and "I'll Make You Dance" is such a fun, upbeat song - it reminds me of a disco dance song!

I also bought "Believe" and "Sharing The Night Together" for 99 cents each, and I like them both. I think "Sharing The Night Together" is a sweet, catchy, upbeat song and it puts a smile on my face every time I hear it. "Believe" shows off the power and range of Elliott's voice and really sounds like it could have been his AI song if he'd been in the top 2. (There's been some speculation on this, and I'm not suggesting that it really was going to be his AI song b/c I don't know - I just think it sounds somewhat like an AI song.)

I am very tempted to buy the album from Real.com to get "Sign Your Name" - I've heard the 30-second clip and read someone's review of it, and it sounds awesome.

All that being said, I think that "Whiter Shade of Pale" is really an absolute must for an Elliott fan. Out of all the bonus tracks that I've heard, I think it is the best. His voice absolutely SOARS on it with such power, soul, and range - actually, it's one of the best performances of a song I've ever heard from him. I think it should have been on the album, but I guess maybe Elliott figured one cover was enough. This track alone is worth the price of the CD on iTunes, and you also get the very catchy, fun "In Love With You Forever." I think that, for someone on a budget who cannot buy multiple copies to get all the bonus tracks, the iTunes version is the one to get. Of course, if you're like me and you have to have a copy of the actual CD and not just a downloaded CD, then you'd have to either buy the CD from the store and not from iTunes, or get two copies - a CD from the store and an iTunes copy. (Again, that's if you're on a strict budget.)

Funny story - The day of the CD release we were talking to Brandon and he said he spoke with Elliott at about 3am of the 20th and he told him "I didn't know "Whiter Shade of Pale" was going to be a bonus track at Itunes and E said "I didn't know either" - so I guess he wasn't the one who made those decisions. I think Elliott just recorded a lot of stuff and his producers/managers must have picked where the extra stuff would go.

You can buy these songs singly on Itunes? I tought you had to buy the entire album to get those?

Can someone confirm this for me?

Also, is it listed anywhere the bonus tracks along with WHERE you can get them? the only bonus ones I have right now are the Target ones and I have not downloaded the Walmart ones yet ( i hate downloading LOL). But I will download Whiter Shade of Pale and Sharing the Night together.

So, if anyone can tell me if I can download Sharing the Night together for 99 cents let me know! I'd like to buy more than a few copies for family. My mother used to love the original and I know she'd love E's version (even tho she is Soul Patrol LOL).

There is a bonus track post somewhere Dox - with a list of what is available where.

Sharing the night together can be bought separately (I think at Yahoo - but not sure)

Whiter Shade of Pale is a bonus track that comes with the ITUNES entire CD download, so you can't get it alone. I have to say that Whiter Shade of Pale is worth the 9.99 for the album just for that song alone!

"Sharing The Night Together" is available on Yahoo Music for 99 cents. You have to download the Yahoo Music Jukebox, but it's free. You don't have to subscribe to Yahoo Music Unlimited to buy songs.

Here's the Yahoo link:
http://music.yahoo.com/ar-32442005-downloads--Elliott-Yamin

If you go there and click "Buy" next to "Sharing The Night Together," it will take you to a page where you can download the Yahoo Music Jukebox if you don't already have it.

Also, "Believe" is available on americanidol.com for 99 cents.

In order to get "Whiter Shade of Pale," you have to download the entire album from iTunes, but again, I think that it's worth the $9.99.

This is the link to the thread where all the bonus tracks are listed:
