Title: Don't Forget To Request, Request, Request
Description: A good start but only the beginning

We need to keep requesting. Once the song is heard on the radio it will sell.
Request everyday.

They were playing WFY on Mix 98.5 in Boston, but only on the morning show. I listen all day at work and they don't play it even though I've called and requested. Yesterday when I called to request it the DJ or person who answered the phone said "Wow, everyone's requesting that song"! So I said, so then why won't they play it. He said talk to the Program Director. So I emailed the program director and his response to me was "There are LOTS of great songs out there now, it's a challenge as we can't play all of them...we are keeping our eye on Elliott and have no issue with playing him if we can find the room." Hmmmm, don't know quite what to make of that.

That's OK. Maybe wait a day and request again. Anyone in Boston area, please put in a request.
NY let's keep requesting too. We need to hear Elliott in NY.

Alot of stations want to see songs charting well on Billboard before they'll give them much or any play. As long as Elliott's CD continues to sell well, he'll be on the Billboard charts soon and hopefully stay there for good long while.
I think we'll start to see radio play really start taking off once Elliott gets (and stays) on the Billboard charts. They also want to make sure this isn't just a short-term spike but that he has lasting power, so encourage everyone you to know to purchase Elliott's CD.

Hopefully the new chart will help us out tomorrow. The CD is definitely spurring on sales of the digital single, which help him out immensely next week.

In case you haven't been able to find the Radio Request and Tracking Info, it's been moved and now is located in the new folder (no longer a sub-folder) FYI: Promo "Team" Links, Tips and Happenings.

I agree with this. Keep requesting WFY.
