Well today was our monthly "thank you breakfast", which my boss said we could use it to celebrate Elliott's cd release. So I decorated the office, and he let me leave the cd playing non-stop, rather loudly all day.I put up all my posters from the summer, and made some new ones as well. These pics were taken tuesday night when i got back from ny, thats why theres no people.
everyone got buttons or magnets with the cd cover, and we gave away 10 cd's of "Wait for You" and "Movin on". everyone had great things to say about the new cd, and a lot of people said they were going out tonight to buy it! yay!!!!

okay, so today was "thank you thursday". we have this every week, just a half hour thing, everyone gets together, and 1 by one you have to thank someone for something.(morale booster, they are really big on that)then the supervisors give a prize to someone that they deem is deserving.
so today, as they went around the room, here were some of the comments."i want to thank Elliott for releasing his cd, so we could all hear it and party!"
"thank you to carol, for bringing elliott's music to us"
Thank you to Mark, for letting carol throw us this party"
"thanks to the dancers who made the party so much fun"....it went on, but you get the idea! It was so cool, to hear elliott get so much praise from so many who have just discovered him!. Actually the only ones who hadn't heard him were people who sat more than 50 yards away from me in the last year!
Oh then everyone kept saying we want elliott to come here, and lets have another party for him next month, etc. etc. etc.
I left the decorations up, and don't plan on taking them down any time soon. everywhere you go in this office, there's pictures of him.
Oh and 1 last thing, I got the supervisor's award for throwing the elliott party, cause it was such a morale booster! :grouphug:

My mother was such a positive, loving and patient person and something she always use to say just came to my mind when I was enjoying your adventure thru the pictures:

People who deal in sunshine are the ones who draw the crowds; they always do more business than those who peddle clouds...now who do you want to be?
I would most definitely say...you my lady... deal in sunshines!!!!!!

Some day I sure do hope we get to meet Chloe...maybe at one of Elliott's sold out concerts.
