Title: Jimmy Kimmel Appearance
Description: combo vs. full band

I'm not sure this has been discussed before but I thought about this and wanted to see what others thought.
I really would like to see Elliott use a full band WITH background vocalists. His songs really require it especially Wait For You. The answer vocals are REALLY needed to do that song justice. I just saw another band on the stage on this show and it's huge. Since he is not on a major I just wondered if this was something that he had to pay for himself or it's part of the management deal. I know it's not cheap paying musicians especially on tv with union and all.
Anyway, I would just love to hear him with a large band and bg singers.
Any thoughts?

I was thinking it was a matter of money. Yes I agree that especially Wait for You could benefit from background singers. Although I'm hoping that he gets to perform another song occasionally since I don't believe that WFY really showcases E's talents as a singer that well. But it is the only radio single released at this point so...

If he doesn't have backup singers, I imagine Elliott will have figured out how to fill in the holes.

Maybe they'll do pre-recorded background vocals.

He took his band to Regis and Kelly, but no back up singers. I agree that I would have liked to see the back up singers on Wait for You.

Ditto, I don't know if it is too late to shift gears, but I would like to see him get away from that song as well. It takes time for a single to gain momentum apparently and I hope I'm proven wrong. I just don't see it as the strongest choice on the cd. The regulars on here are probably getting sick of hearing it. How long has the single been out and where has it gotten, again I hope I have to eat crow a month from now.

yeah, no background vocals. elliott filled in the wholes well but it would definitely benefit with some background vocals. i would avoid anything pre-recorded because elliott goes off on his own riffs and that wouldnt work with set track vocals

I like the band the way it is. I want to hear Elliott. No background singers please. If he must have some, I hope it's no more than 2. I prefer none.
I definitely hope that he never has pre-recorded backing vocals. That would take away the great vibe Elliott and his band has now. IMHO.
