I was on my computer this morning, streaming Elliott's CD on one of the radio stations in CT that has it on line for streaming, with the actual CD with his lovely face looking up at me.

My daughter came in to see what I was doing, saw the CD and said, "oh I see you already bought it." She told me she heard his video somewhere (had to be on line because she doesn't listen to the radio). She told me that he looks so good with his new hair and teeth, and that the video was really really good. She thought his voice sounded so much better than when he was on the show, and she really liked the song. (By the way, she liked Kat). Said she was going to go listen to the stream.

I think we may have another digital sale for his album!!! (She is an i-tunes fanatic).

Hi Folks,

I reviewed Elliott's new CD on my diabetes blog and got a comment today from a blog reader who said they'd never heard of him before, never watched American Idol, but after following the links to MySpace and YouTube they bought the album from iTunes.

They also said this was the first time they'd bought an album on impulse in a very long time. <g>

Very good news JennyB. Thanks for putting up the review. It's great to hear about people not familiar with AI or Elliott that hear his music and decide to purchase.

I was "advertising" Elliott's CD by purposely exagurating (sp?) the fact that I was listening to a CD during study hall and then I put E's CD on my desk and 3 people came up to me and said that they saw him on TRL and that they really had liked Wait For You and that they were proabably going to buy it on iTunes. :cheerleader: Go Elliott!

WOOOOO HOOOOOO a tough sell, but we got her! The BRAT! : )

My sister is finally a believer, she just called me from her car in San Antonio Texas and she was somewhat of a Daughtry fan, not dedicated, not hardcore, she's a busy girl. Well.....after nearly a year of convincing her, guess who went out and bought it TODAY! and she's lovin it!
SHE CALLED ME PLAYIN "ONE WORD" !!!!! She complemented Find A Way immensely, haha critics she thinks the message is profound and she's one of the smartest people I know.

She also informed me that on this day, Sunday about an hour ago, there are only 2 copies left in her local Target store which is on the outskirts of SA.

I let her know that there was no radio play action in SA and she's agreed to help me out on that front as well. I told her we'd be able to have a good time it at the live show, so I think she'll help me out.


My husband was on the phone with our friends in Florida, Port St Lucy (N of Miami) a few minutes ago and so when I said hi, I excitedly informed them that Elliott's CD's been released....they loved E on AI and they're gonna be picking it up too! :)
