Poor Elliott - he walks into such total zoo environments sometimes - those three people made no sense at times - especially the old guy! He did a great job!

Good interview, although the hosts were pretty clueless at the beginning. Doesn't someone tell them how to pronounce a guest's name before he arrives? :huh:

Elliott looks really rested in these interviews, very handsome and liked what he had on. The first part with the 3 interviewers got on my nerves a bit. They kept interrupting him. I guess they like to hear themselves talk. I really enjoyed the 2nd interview.

That's what I thought too, he looked really good (realllly good :wub: -sorry, lol) and relaxed. Loved the 2nd interview, interesting that he might want to do a musical one day.

Elliott will be such a good actor too. He really can emote. He's such a FEELING kind of person. Elliott thinks with his heart..and that makes a great actor.
I can't wait.
Okay...off to vote TRL. We have been successful at this promotion so far, it's like a campaign. One day I want to hear someone tell ME about Elliott Yamin.

I really enjoyed the second interview. The host/reporter asked some very interesting yet non-intrusive questions. Elliott is really looking ahead.

I couldn't watch the first interview to the end. It was to choppy and skipped or got stuck a lot. The host/reports seemed totally unprepared.

I got a chuckle, ha ha ha, under the first interview a caption reads suggested searches “gray hair”

In the first interview they asked him if he was in the same season as Reuben...I gasped at that and was literally like this :blink: :ruserious:

Then I realized the absurdity of it all (the hosts) and started laughing my head off.

I'm SO SO happy Elliott is looking rested. Yes, he looked hot in TRL but you could tell he hadn't had very many hours of sleep. I hate to see him sleep-deprived.

The first interviewers were complete morons! The woman with the long blond hair sitting on the right was the worst! How stupid can you be? How do some of these people get, and keep, their jobs?

The second interview was really good. They actually allowed him to speak at length. Plus, the camera stayed on him the whole time. That, I particularly liked! :drool:

The second interview was excellent. It was the most serious I've ever seen Elliott. He's a very intelligent guy on top of everything else.

I think they actually thought that last year Elliott was 3rd, Kat was 2nd and Ruben was 1st. :rotfl:

That, or these guys just really don't care, except maybe the other female host who's also chronically late. She seemed to have seen the show.

Really enjoyed these interviews. Elliott always puts a lot of thought into his answers. He seems to steer clear of mentioning Jaime when asked about girlfriends, etc. I think he is wise to try to keep his personal life personal. Well done!

Thank you so much for those wonderful interviews. Our boy was lookin' good. Maybe he's starting to get the message--I don't know if a poster here said it or if it was on another board--that if he's decided that sexy love songs are his niche, it would be good if he looked appealing, to match.

Dorky girl in the first interview...the guy pronounced his name right in the first place, and then she corrected him with a wrong pronunciation!

Second interview was better because the first rule of interviewing is to let the interviewee do as much of that talking as possible.

Lol, those guys are so stupid it's hilarious. But when did daytime talkshow hosts become smart? I mean Regis & Kelly, The View...hello?!?!

Yeah, I saw that live yesterday. I watch Good Day LA every morning when I'm getting ready for work.

Jillian and Steve admit they do NOT watch the show. Dorothy (the chronically late blonde) is the only one who actually watches because she is the entertainment reporter on the show. Jillian and Steve only know about Katherine since she was the local girl from last season.

BTW, I just heard Elliott on KOST 103.5 driving into work this morning. He sounded great and they played snippets from the whole album. Elliott was talking about Jamie and a friend called in from his childhood in LA. They played 'One Word' after the interview...good stuff for Elliott!

I watch Good Day LA on Wednesdays and Thursdays to see some interviews with Idol contestants, but it is really difficult to suffer the fools on this show! They are absolutely the WORST!

They spend 9 minutes talking about themselves and at most a minute about AI or anyone else! I get so sick of seeing Dorothy Lucy and her kid hanging all over Simon and talking about her plastic surgery! Yuck! Why do they think we tune in?

Funny, I've seen so little of that show, but I haven't been able to stand Juliandra (I didn't even remember her name) since I saw her interview Kathrynanne McPhen.

Kathleen Mafee did have a nice interview with her though, it looked cozy, very focused and centered. And Kathleen looked GREAT with those hair extensions.

Didn't we all see Kathareen Mahaffee with her during an interview on the show where they went to their hometowns? Julie Ann was a fan of hers!
