Title: At&t Blueroom Is Up
Description: Long interview and two songs

ladycentaur - March 27, 2007 07:37 AM (GMT)
EDIT: The original AT&T Blue Room links of Elliott's interview no longer exist. But thanks to klo and itslate, we still can see them. Please scroll to the end of this thread for the saved links that enable us to watch this fan favorite interview whenever we wish.

He sings Movin' On and Sharing The Night Together and gives a really long interview.

ladycentaur - March 27, 2007 07:55 AM (GMT)
Hopefully those links will work...if not...well...scroll down on the list to the left and open "Interviews" and Elliott is hiding in there. :)

planegirl - March 27, 2007 08:31 AM (GMT)
Thanks for putting this on here ladyc. I'm sitting here at work and I watched it, all the while hoping my boss wouldn't walk in. I don't think he would appreciate me telling him to come back later because I'm busy watching Elliott.
It's a good thing nobody came in here wanting any parts, too.
I would have to tell them to get their own parts because I'm busy watching my Elliott, and HE takes priority :worship:
I loved this interview. He is so cute and so"unaffected". Just a regular guy doing what he loves the most.

Thank you for the links. Elliott sounded great. I loved the interviews also. The more I see/hear Elliott just talking, it is so clear that he is doing what he was meant to do. I am so glad that he made to decision to just go for it because he has touched a lot of lives in a positive way.

"Sharing The Night Together" is getting to the top of my favorites list. Both STNT and "Movin' On" sounded great live. Now I'm even more excited to hear Elliott sing "Movin' On" on Ellen's show today.

Kimmi - March 27, 2007 10:25 AM (GMT)
A big thank you to those who supplied links.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the clips..esp. Moving On. He really is sooo good unplugged. Cant wait for Ellen!

thank you so much for these links. Couldn't get theothers to work.

Wow, he seems to be getting better and better with each performance. It seemed he was reining himself in on Movin On. I'd love to hear him jam some pure jazz and go loose.

Yaminilita - March 27, 2007 11:00 AM (GMT)
OMG this is so good. He sounds so good. I'm trying watch as much of this before I head out t work. I'm watching Sharing tonight together right now. Movin' On was GREAT.

DeniseK - March 27, 2007 11:54 AM (GMT)
Thank you sooooo much for posting all of this!!! As I have said time and time again, that this is the most sharing bunch of people!!! I want you to know that I really do appreciate all of these posts. Without all of your help, I wouldn't know anything else about Elliott if it were left up to me!!! I am so glad that I found the Etrain!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :cheerleader: :grouphug:

VeronicaJoD - March 27, 2007 12:14 PM (GMT)
LadyC, thank you so much for the link...and helping us open it...LOL!

I can't believe that I could be more in love with E...but I am. After hearing STNT I have to go out and get that CD with the extra tracks on it. I've already downloaded from itunes, bought four CD's at Walmart(two for me, two for gifts)and now here I go again. Yep, two more...one for the house and one for the car.

The purpose of life is to matter...to have it make a difference that you live at all...
by using whatever talents you may have to the vey fullest.
Thank you Elliott for dreaming...
and learning that nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe something inside them was superior to circumstance.

I'm so sorry that I rambled on but Elliott does that to me...LOL

GypsyNFla - March 27, 2007 12:17 PM (GMT)

Wow! Loved this. Both performances were awesome. He really lets loose on Movin' On. I think this is going to be a great song done live. Can't wait to hear it again on Ellen today.

Really enjoyed the interview too. I loved his story about singing at the Footlocker while working and people/customers hearing him. I also never knew that he was always nervous after he performed on AI.

number1elliottfan - March 27, 2007 02:33 PM (GMT)
Loved it. When is his second CD coming out? Yes I want a 2nd one out [B]right now[/B.]But seriously, any word on concert dates yet?

Janizzle - March 27, 2007 02:41 PM (GMT)
It was fantastic, thanks for posting! Great start to the day!

JennyB - March 27, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
That version of "Movin On" blew me away, because it demonstrated to me what a natural musician Elliott is. The way he changed the tune showed him using his voice like a lead instrument. It shows a natural understanding of improvisation that very few singers, particularly those who don't play instruments, ever understand.

Seeing him do that, I understood why he's such a good songwriter. The ability to improvise on a set of chord changes and write new songs are closely related.

I wish this version of "Movin' On" with the excellent drummer was the one on the CD, though. The arrangement on the CD isn't close to being this good.

Ill make sure I check it out when I get home.. After Ellen of course ;)

ladycentaur - March 27, 2007 10:56 PM (GMT)
rehearsals.com doesn't even have him up yet...and they were supposed to have him up yesterday.

georgiafan1 - March 29, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
Elliott is so amazing on the songs and on the interviews. I'm sooo glad that AT&T Blue Room put everything up on time. Maybe Rehearsals.com will put theirs up soon. Hope so.

Heck I knew there was a reason I nabbed some of them, in case they disappeared. You're welcome all. Problem is I didn't have the right software back then to get the AT&T interviews. Hopefully some really nice person will come up with the missing files.

rooney You might be just a few years older than me... I didn't know the song lol... now I'll have to make it my theme song. I found it on youtube... guess you can find anything there huh lol.

It's late by Ricky Nelson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=webW7qnk1Ow

The AT&T interview was the very best. Elliott talked and talked about all kinds of things and looked great. The best part was, the interviewer took the golden rule of interviewing--that the interviewEE should be the one doing the talking--to the extreme; questions were very few and far between, and weren't even part of the soundtrack!

I'd been looking for it on the AT&T site, and couldn't find ...can't wait to get home from work and download it! Thanks, Klo!
