Now that Elliott has the #3 album we can be more assertive about our requests. Don't forget the stations that have already played WFY. I noticed that KIIS FM in LA has reduced the number of spins. Don't simply rely on JoJo 9@9. CALL AND REQUEST EVERYWHERE. We need to build on the success we have as well as increase the new stations.

I e-mailed KS95 in Minnesota. Sent it directly to Staci (of Moon and Staci). She responded that she had just been in her boss's office trying to get Elliott added to their playlist. Maybe if there are alot of requests it will help her in her efforts to get him added to that list. So anyone that can help here in that endeavor it would be great!

I told her I had seen their video interview online with Elliott and would love to hear his new song WFY on the radio.

Great, hopefully there are more in Minnesota doing the same thing. They need feedback and where he's been interviewed seems like a good place to give it. Wasn't Moon the huge Kathleen MacPhae fan?

I don't recall who he (Moon) supported. But when I saw the interview I figured she would be a great place to start. She seemed pretty warm to Elliott. I thought she might be willing to give our boy a chance. Her response e-mail was very upbeat and I felt like she truly is trying to get him playing on their station. I figured maybe if she had more e-mails or calls for that matter she would have more to bring in to her boss as proof that people want to hear him.

I just called KS95 long distance from Austin, Texas and asked Dez if they could play Elliott Yamin's "Wait For You" that is the #3 single in the country and she said she would let them know they were getting requests for it!!!

I'll try to call each of these. I've been voting and calling and emailing all afternoon. I'm surprised that KHFI has played "Wait For You" because I've been trying to get them to for almost 2 weeks and have never heard it from them. Guess I just missed it when it was playing. I'm trying to get KKMJ - Majic 95.5 here in Austin to start playing it too! I was told they would play it if they can find it! Dayum, maybe I should go down there and help them sift through their uh...stuff! It is so wonderful to be able to tell DJs that he has the #3 single right now!!! :rocker:
