Or will other independent artists use it as well down the road?
Does anyone know?
This is a paragraph from Elliotts recent interview at the MSN Media Blog (link in News & Updates)
TVF: The label that your album is on is actually your own label, right?
EY: Exactly. I'm the launching artist for the label, and it's our own. Who knows, it might blow up after this, and maybe in the future we could have our own artists on it. Maybe build our own entity. I wanted to be smart about making decisions business-wise, too. I'm really lucky to have such a great team that I work with, my business manager and all the people I work with every day. They've all just been a dream time, and they really look out for our best interests.

Thanks.

Well, he's now at #8. Yippeee. I think we don't have to worry about second week sales.
All new releases, whether CD or DVD, typically have a sale price the 1st week of release. After that week, the sale price ends & the normal price is applied.
