Title: Artist Vs. Craftsman
Description: Elliott is an artist

I think Elliott's constant changing up of his songs, as opposed to perfect perforamances in exact copy, defines him as an artist.

I love art, I love to create beautiful things...I hate to copy. I hate to make the same thing more than once.

I have a friend who makes marvelous crafts, perfect each time..exact dulpicates and beautiful. She uses patterns and books for her ideas.

So, I admire both creative artists who experiment and mavelous craftsmen who can put the time and energy into repetition and reproduction.

Elliott fits the artist mold in my opinion...I enjoy his creativity.

I love your post and I agree with it. Elliott is an artist and a truly gifted one at that.

One of the many things that I love about Elliott is his ability to change songs each time I hear them.

When they were on the AI tour and all of the videos were being posted by fans, it was obvious that each of Elliott's performances were slightly different. I enjoyed that. If they were all the same, I would not have bothered looking at the videos from each city.

People who plan to see Elliott on tour need to just prepare themselves now because I doubt that he will sing the songs exactly the way they sound on his CD. That's the fun of being at a live show. If I wanted the same as the CD, I'd just stay home and listen to the CD.
