Wow! Thanks. That's May 12. I hope Elliott's health is up to par with his gruelling sked.

Fergie, Ludacris, Rihanna, Pitbull and more to play Wango Tango

Fergie arrives at the 2007 Grammy Awards, courtesy of Associated PressLast year the heads at KIIS-FM wised up and moved their pop-and-product-placement shebang Wango Tango out of stadiums and into Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. The result: a better, much less bloated bonanza. So it's no surprise that the Top 40 outlet isn't messing with a winning formula, as Wango Tango will return to the Irvine venue on May 12. Slated to appear at the bash: Black Eyed Peas ingenue Fergie, rapper Ludacris, R&B upstart Rihanna, Miami MC Pitbull, blue-eyed soulster Robin Thicke (the poor girl's Justin Timberlake), AGym Class Heroes, Omarion, American Idol finalist Elliott Yamin, Paula Deanda and Baby Bash. Ryan Seacrest will one again host.

Tickets go on sale first to KIIS Club VIP members, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday (April 13). You can become a member by signing up here. Any tickets remaining after that presale will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Saturday (April 14) at all Ticketmaster outlets and WangoTango.com. Prices aren't unavailable as I write this, but last year they were $45-$203.

I still think Elliott has a champion in Ryan Seacrest - not to be taken lightly. It seems, at least on surface, that Ryan is opening as many opportunities as possible for Elliott to be heard. He had him debut the song, KIIS was the first to give major airplay, and Ryan is hosting this show. I'm sure he's pulling for E as hard as he can.

WOW, great lineup, our guy in with the best in the biz! People are going to just love him,
Agreed that Ryan is the best, I just knew he was pulling for Elliott

LAwmn - April 9, 2007 10:04 PM (GMT)
This is a major score for Elliott!! Ryan was mentioning last week that they were going to announce the Wango Tango lineup and I was really hoping Elliott would be a part of it. I'm so excited for him! This is a major event in SoCal every year. WAY TO GO ELLIOTT :cheerleader:

jamie50 - April 9, 2007 10:12 PM (GMT)
Ryan, you are a great guy. :cheerleader: (Be nice if Daughtry was at this concert but I doubt it. I don't think this station plays him.)

EmJay321 - April 9, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
That's so awesome for him! KIIS fm is really behind him. I love it.

I'm pretty sure they have a show in Texas on the 12th. They're going right into a second leg of their tour on April 27th.
