Title: Raising Money For Free...
Description: Do you all know about GoodSearch

WWW.Goodsearch.com is a yahoo search engine that is giving back.
For every search you do, money is given to your favorite charity. The list is very long and the only requirement is that the charity be a registered non-profit.
So for all of you interested in money for Diabetes....here is a very easy way to give and give and give. I search all the time. Every search for Elliott could also raise money for juvenille diabetes research..
Spread the word

Charity Size # of Supporters Searches Per Day Estimated Revenue/Year
Small 100 2 $730
Medium 1,000 2 $7,300
Large 10,000 2 $73,000
What kind of power would the e-train have? Could we raise 73K in one year just by searching Elliott twice a day?

This is a great idea, dtrowbridge, as a means to raise money for non-profit charitable organizations. I would only caution against using it to test the "power" of the E-Train. I think that if you join because of its intended purpose, then go for it. But, if you join just so you could "search Elliott twice a day" even if you don't need to search for him, then it's counterproductive. IMO.

I think it's a good idea, when used correctly.

Oh I was just thinking in terms of the Yahoo bombs that they were mentioning in other posts. This is a Yahoo search engine and would probably 'count' for Elliott and would also count pennies for charity.
No I dont' think it should be abused....but with all the families here that are supporting JDA..ADA etc. I thought I would spread the word.
I dont know if enough people will see it here in this forum.
