For those of you in the DC area, tickets for Elliott's appearance at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA (5/17) go on sale today at noon via Ticketmaster.

Where did you see this, I can't find it when I go to the Birchmere cite?

I will call the TLA in Philly, they open their box office at 12. I only see 3 concerts confirmed and having ticket sales.

Okay, found him listed on Ticketmaster for the Birchmere. Says currently not on sale.

I get newsletters from the Birchmere via email--just received it last night. Birchmere has not updated their calendar yet, but their newsletter definitely said Elliott is there on 5/17 and tickets ($25) would go on sale at Ticketmaster at noon today.

I've never been there but my co-worker said I should get there early to get good seats.

It's general admission - tables - so get there early, eat dinner (pub food) and wait for the show. I went up to a show the first time a couple of weeks ago and we got there an hour early and only got a table in the back.

So I guess I'll be camping out. :lol:

man, I just went to the website...this is a nice intimate venue! Looks like they get a nice crowd every night, with both big name and small name talent.

We're getting there early--they hand out numbers to the people waiting in line and then seat people based upon the numbers.

I've been to the Birchmere before. A couple of years ago I saw Kurt Nilsen, the World Idol winner there. Its a really nice venue, quite intimate, seats 500 I believe. Its also a well respected place. A lot of really well known acts have played there, you'll see pictures on the wall of everyone whose played there, its quite impressive.
You sit at these long tables, its regular pub type food, not bad. You'll want to get there early though to sit at one of the tables at the front.
I wish I could go but am from Toronto, and its just too far. Have a great time everyone.
