Hey everyone. I know most people haven't been voting this year and I understand. However, next week each vote that is cast is going essentially going towards charity. It is a very noble and helpful thing, so I would hope everyone would power vote this upcoming week for whichever of the six remaining finalists that you like the most. All things aside, this has the potential to be a tremendous amount of money that will go a long way in helping those who truly need it. Plus, I'm sure that the concert they have will feature a lot of cool performances with some of your favorite artists. So, vote vote vote!!!

I don't think so. That is a good question lol. I believe votes from text and from phone calls count. All of these companies are going to match the votes from what I gather.

I haven't voted this year, but I will for this show. Agreed, it is a worthy cause. Good to point that out!

I forgot about that and I didn't vote but went online and donated money instead.

Does anyone know for sure how much the votes will be matched by the corporations? I'm curious because I used DI for the first time since voting for Elliott last year. I wasn't going to dial myself for the 4 hours. My eyes were already closing before the show started. I got 404 votes in for Phil and about 300 for Melinda. I think I texted about 25 more. That should translate a good amount into dollars.

They said 5 million dollars were donated due to the votes on Tuesday :yes:
