I saw this on another board and thought it would be fun here. You name a movie you've watched lately.

Tonight I watched:
The Greatest Game Ever Played
(love good underdog movies)

Just watched "The Confederate States of America", directed by Spike Lee. It was something else. I am so thankful the North won!

MistyluvsE - April 22, 2007 04:47 AM (GMT)
My son and i just watched "Flushed Away"

nymphadora - April 22, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
I watched The Devil Wears Prada on DVD a few nights ago.

sherwood - April 22, 2007 05:10 AM (GMT)
I wouldn't mind seeing The Devil Wears Prada on DVD...also American Dreamz, because someone who just saw my Elliott CD cover and doesn't know who he is, commented that he looked jut like the guy in that movie. Is that true?

I can't remember the last time I sat through a whole movie. Most of them are just too junky to waste time with...the computer is mor fun because it's interactive.

I did sit through the entire Coming to America...I agree with Elliott that it was great. "Wipers!!..."

AgentScully - April 22, 2007 06:30 PM (GMT)
Friday night I watched "The Last King Of Scotland". It was quite an enjoyable movie.
Forrest Whitaker did an outstanding job in the role of Idi Amin.
And I was also impressed by the guy that played the character of, Nicholas, James McAvoy. He is gorgeous and a great actor.

Also, I was stunned one of my fave actors Gillian Anderson was in it. I had no idea...lol.

Wasn't that compelling. Especially the end where they introduced the father that Dean Cain played. I thought they looked remarkably alike.

Other than that I watched "Medicine Man" with Sean Connery and Lorraine Bracco

Love the soundtrack to that movie.

elliottfan78 - April 30, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
watched Shrek this weekend

I watched it a few days ago. Orginally I was going to rent it for superficial reasons-Patrick Dempsey being in it. My orginal plan was to FF all the parts w/out P.D. But, I loved the music they played from the start so I decided to go ahead and watch the whole thing. The character of Scott was different. . Erin was great though. Such a incredible woman she was. Her patience was superior to anything I could have ever brought fourth.

Just went to our local film house last night and saw Avenue Montaigne (Fauteuils d'orchestre) . Good French film. Before that I saw The Hoax with Richard Gere. Another good film.

Zoolander with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell.

BTW, I'd seen it before, but it was on sale at Target for $10.

My favorite part is the "walk off."

hahaha! I watched that about 6 months ago...on purpose. Their antics are absolutely idiotic yet still oddly compelling.

I saw that one too. I think it should be required viewing for all teenagers. It was excellent. Also watched "Glory Days" recently with hubby - we both enjoyed it.

I love all of the old Disney movies, including Lady and the Tramp. Ohh, and the Fox and the Hound makes me cry my fool head off.

Someday, I am hoping to have some children so that I can justify my rather extensive Disney/Pixar collection.
