Title: Napsterlive Digital Album On Sale!!!!
Description: 4 Live Performances, NEW Easy Lover

backporchpoet - May 1, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
I just got an e-mail from Napster about new music for this week, and Elliott's NapsterLive performances are now available for download!!!! There are live versions of "Movin' On," "Wait For You," "Find A Way," and a DIFFERENT one, "Easy Lover"!!!!

You can stream all of the songs in their entirety before you download them, but you have to come up with a user name and password for Napster - it's free. Here is the link where you can stream the songs: http://www.napster.com/view/album/index.html?id=12481737

I was so excited, I screamed when I saw it, haha. I didn't know it would be released this week.

Wow yet another bonus track LOL. I'm listening to Easy Lover now :). So these were recorded exclusively for Napster?

Can you download and purchase just this song? I don't have Napster installed.

You have to download the Napster software to buy music, but the software is free - you have the option to subscribe to the paid service, but you don't have to. If you download the software, you can buy individual songs or albums.

ETA: Yup, they were recorded exclusively for Napster. I remember hearing about it a while back, but I didn't know when the performances would be posted.

Yaminilita - May 1, 2007 07:17 PM (GMT)
WHY CAN'T I BE HOME RIGHT NOW???? I can't wait to hear these!!! 4 performances? besided Easy Lover, what else did he perform????

Yaminilita - May 1, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
never mind. I see what he performed. I got too excited and missed it. lol

Elliott!fan - May 1, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
i can't believe this stuff's not available for purchase. it would be really cool if these hot songs were actually on the album and/or available for purchase by all.

very smokin hot song. with live instruments too. yes, this is the best song. would really love to buy it. wish i could. i'd buy tons.

i miss the days where u could just buy the damn single at the record store..and all the good songs would be on the album which u could also buy.
sadly, nowadays it all seems to be such a scam.

wowhesgood - May 1, 2007 07:25 PM (GMT)
Elliott!fan, I so agree. I am so tired of downloading yet more software on my computer just to hear one song. As much as I want to buy Easy Lover, I'm not sure I'll download Napster software (in addition to iTunes, Real Play, Yahoo....) to buy it. ARG!!!

I'm sure he sounds fabulous singing it. There is nothing this guy can't sing!

I didn't have to download anything to listen. I didn't purchase - try to listen without downloading.

Benito - May 1, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
OMG, OMG, OMG, "Easy Lover" by Elliott--just a WOW, WOW, WOW performance. Gee, got chills all over, chills all over, just WOW, WOW, WOW! Elliott sang it in his high register. OMG, OMG, OMG, I think I am dying. . .

wowhesgood - May 1, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
I guess I didn't go far enough or figure it out. How do I even get to the point I have to listen? Where do you register?

Elliott!fan - May 1, 2007 07:44 PM (GMT)
yeah it sounds fabulous. i sure wish it was mac compatible. i didn't even care for original version of easy lover in the 80s but Elliott's version is phenomenal! E blows it out da box! soo much better than the original! it doesn't seem to play the other songs for me..keeps crashing..but from what brief bit i could hear i think i still like the rehearsals.com and ellen live versions of movin on best, better than what i could hear here..never got to hear last two at all. Easy Lover is like WOW!! SMOKIN HOT!!! can ya'll make it available for mac users? we like to buy good music too!

pdlvne - May 1, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
OMG GOTTA HAVE IT NOW! I AM LOVING EASY LOVER!

artymom - May 1, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
I loooove Easy Lover!!! It really showcases Elliott's higher ranges and then he sliiiides into that low smooth range. Ohhh... :thud:

BYW...I absolutely ove your avi, Yellin!

shatner8 - May 1, 2007 09:07 PM (GMT)
I am not a big fan of this song, but Elliott is awesome on this, great guitar, singing those high notes, so rocking out good
Much better than the original

et4elliott - May 1, 2007 09:13 PM (GMT)
AWESOME! thanks for the link. Listening to Easy Lover now!

itslate - May 1, 2007 09:34 PM (GMT)
Seems like only one listen per song... so make sure the kids are out and the phone off the hook before listening lol.

So this isn't available as singles to purchase for $1? Can someone let me know. Something I downloaded before almost crashed my new computer... think it might have been Urge. They don't all work together well.

Etrainrider - May 1, 2007 09:38 PM (GMT)
Just listened to Easy Lover and I'm lovin it. Used to have Phil Collin's No Jacket Required back in the day. He had lots of hits on that record.

I would SO love to get all these bonus tracks onto one CD but have no idea how to do it. I would seriously pay someone to do this for me.

I don't have Easy Lover yet and hate to have to download new software...

I have all my bonus tracks along on iTunes. I downloaded the songs from the various vendors, burned to a cd, then imported them to iTunes to my Elliott cd playlist and reburned a cd from the playlist I created w/ my iTunes download with the bonus tracks added. Does that make sense?

lovinelliott23 - May 1, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
I had just finished putting 'Easy Lover' on my mp3 player, and then the orignial came on the radio  Freaky..

musicmovesme - May 1, 2007 10:52 PM (GMT)
Ha! I knew our boy could sing rock and roll! Very cool.

Actually, I think you can listen to each full song about three times, and then you only get a 30 second sample. That's if you get a user name and password at napster.com. This is the link (it's different from the one I posted before - it's Elliott's artist page at napster.com): http://www.napster.com/view/artist/index.html?id=12131747

You can download individual songs for 99 cents, so you don't have to buy all of the live tracks.

You can go here: http://www.napster.com/view/artist/index.html?id=12131747

Then click on the play button next to one of the songs, and a window will pop up. It will prompt you to sign in, and there should be a link to click on and register if you don't already have a user name and password. Then you create a user name and password, and that's it!

lovinelliott23 - May 1, 2007 11:28 PM (GMT)
I found that I could play it as much as I wanted to without signing up as long as I closed the player window and cleared all my cookies.

ohioguy45780 - May 1, 2007 11:32 PM (GMT)
awesome...LOVE "Easy Lover"!

$4.95 for the downloads, guys. If you buy WFY separately, it may count toward Billboard's totals, depending on how close it is to the original.

BTW: this thread needs re-titled.
I almost missed the fact that a NEW album was FOR SALE!
Many people may just skip over this thread....
we need to let people know that a whole new album is available from the get-go.

Spread the word to the boards and blogs!

ohioguy45780 - May 1, 2007 11:56 PM (GMT)

My bank was getting suspicious with all these purchases I've been making lately online and called to verify that it was me purchasing the songs!
