Me too! That or Train Wreck. I LOVE the growly thing he does on Take My Breath Away. :wub: Unfortunately, neither Train Wreck nor this song seem radio-friendly enough for a newcomer.

I saw "for a newcomer" because it seems that if you're an established artist who's had a bunch of hits and more than one album, then it's not so risky to experiment with different-sounding singles. Take John Mayer and his current single, "Gravity" - I never would've thought that radio would play a song as old-school as that. But they are, because he's had so many hits and sales. I think all that will come for Elliott in time.

ETA I was so excited to see 'Israel' there I didn't read your post properly...I was thinking the same thing about him singing in Hebrew, there are so many great songs he could slaughter...have you ever noticed that the great majority of Hebrew singers are guys? I'm always hearing stuff and saying 'Elliott would sound great on that' to myself, more than with English songs.

I was thinking since the doesn't speak Hebrew he'd have to start with something easy to transliterate...how does 'lirot otah hayom' sound to you?
