okay, so florida isn't that close to virginia so DJ's aren't really feeling any pressure to play MMFL. WE HAVE TO MAKE THEM

i live in tampa and i'll put together a list of radio phone numbers to call and request.

tampa is big but let's get some miami and talahasse [sp?] folks in here too.

I'm from Central Florida and I'm flooding Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Tallahasee stations with request for Elliott's song......I'm trying to put together a group of 20 people who will request everyday !!!!

I'm in West Palm Beach area. What type of stations should I contact?

Jacksonville Florida here. I've got Lite 96.1 FM playing it on Thurs..they promised. The DJ is British & so am I & we really hit it off so I was able to smoosh the pants off of him. He didn't have the CD yet..but said to call back on Thurs morning at 7.40am & request it & he promised to play it. I know it will only take one time & people will call & ask "who was that?".." or "can I hear that song again Moody Mood or something"..I will call every luchtime & request it, beg my friends to call in & ask ( they don't like Elliott) but they'll do it. All great things start with a grass roots approach..just like politics really. It starts on the ground & then takes care of itself.

I'll do it, just give me numbers & a local area I can say I'm from so it sounds legit. Also, if there are any corny phrases you need to know..you know like "Power 95 is Jacksonville's number one hit music station"...they probably won't ask you to say it BUT it's good to sound like a loyal listener rather than some random persom trying to Push Elliott Yamin on the airwaves. So, count me in.

That website doesn't say what kind of stations they re. We need people to post the name of their local LITE/JZZ/SOUL/R&B stations. it will be faster & easier than trying to dig thru a maze of stations we know nothing about.

I don't think they have on air streaming so just say you are requesting it for a friend in Jacksonville & make up a name...say she lives in Mandarin or Baymeadows or at the Beaches or Arlington ..take your pick. This will really help Elliott get more exposure in North East Florida..thanks.

I'm from Naples, FL and I emailed and called every station in FL to request Moody's Mood For Love by Elliott Yamin! My local jazz station has already gotten several request, but Elliott's song has to be added to the playlist, so we won't start hearing it for a couple days.

I'm going to send a fax to Love 94 over here in Miami (93.9 FM). Hoopefully they have it.
