I was thinking that Alright would make a great summertime single. Funky and soulful with a great beat. These types of songs do really well in the summer. Kids would eat it up!! I can just see them playing it at malt shops all over the country (or wherever it is kids hang out these days!!) Just think back to last year and Sexyback by Justin Timberlake and Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado. Another midtempo ballad might be a mistake in the summer. Save 'One Word' for a fall release. But Alright (with a really funky video to go with it!!) Has BIG HIT written all over it. Anyone agree?? :etrain:

I actually think Alright would make a great single - and it's something different. I also wish they would release I'll Make You Dance - the bonus track from the Target CD. Another great upbeat song that makes you move. The sounds from both of these are kind of retro and while they may feel a bit "warmed over" for those of us a certain age - I think this is just the direction that young listeners are going. I think they would fall in love with the sound.

I think how I am in the summertime..physically active. If I were to go to the beach, ALRIGHT would be perfect fit.
I like dance music most of all anyway, I like to liven things up, get things going. ALRIGHT is a DJ's dream.
