I wrote Fred Croshal to find out if the Atlanta concert was definitely off because of E's appearance on AI6 and here is the message I just received back:
"It will be re-scheduled….and announced soon via the promoter…it will appear on Elliott’s myspace site first."
So anyone planning to hear E in Atlanta, just stay tuned to E's myspace for the latest changes! Apparently the Atlanta concert on 5/15 IS definitely not happening!

Well, I'm really sorry for those who were counting on it - but I'm glad it is being rescheduled. I felt like it would be - and it just means a postponement, but look at it this way, all the kinks will be worked out of the set by the time you hear it!

I am sure Elliott needs at least a rehearsal in LA before his performance on Wednesday - so it would have been really hard to do both.

I agree that he needs a rehearsal day. It would have been really hard on him to do Atlanta and then go to LA. It's all good, we get to see him on AI. :woohoo:

I'm soo glad that it will be rescheduled, heck, I'll even take the Aug. 8th date if it's still available, I don't care as long as we can see him. I had called the Loft and they obviously knew about the possible change in date but they were waiting to hear from Elliott's management. I want what's best for Elliott and want him at his best so this makes good sense to me. I'll be glued to my TV come May 16th. Don't anyone be too disappointed, we'll get to see him eventually.

Thanks for checking on that for us AngELL. Of course we all want what's best for Elliott and it's best for him to remain in LA after Wango Tango and practice for the tour and for the AI appearance. I'm glad that the Atlanta concert will be rescheduled. I hope that I can still go. Elliott will be awesome on AI and on tour.

I'm also relieved that he's rescheduling his Atlanta date -- that was the only location within reasonable driving distance for me. And I'm glad he'll have time to rest and rehearse before his AI performance. I can't wait (well, I'll have to if I want to see him live)!

Yeah, Cathy, all I was thinking when Atlanta was cancelled was...Not again! Poor Cathy. That's twice you were nearly there, and Elliott had to cancel.

I've had a couple of stressful days. I was driving home from work yesterday, wishing they'd play Elliott on the radio (XL 106.7 in Orlando) and then there he was! I tried once again to call the station to thank them (the line is ALWAYS busy) and hallelujah, the phone rang and the DJ picked up! I was speechless for a moment and then started in on how hearing Elliott's song had brightened my day and what I had been going through. I hung up and thought, "oh, crap, what if they play that back on the radio??" and was relieved that they didn't! Then I heard him today at lunch, just as I was writing a "get well" card for a friend. It's been a real pick-me-up hearing him on the radio at just the right times!

You're so funny, Cathy. That's exactly how I reacted the first time I called Sirius. I was so afraid I'd hear me on the radio. Luckily, I haven't.
Today I called to thank Adam for having Elliott on..and it said "you might hear yourself played on the radioi" and I just hung up. I couldn't say anything.

Does anyone know a date yet?
