This past weekend my oldest daughter was graduating from college at a university about 4 hours from my home. On the drive up there my radiator overheated and we were stuck on a deserted part of the freeway for over 3 hours before a tow truck could get us and another 2 for repairs before we got back on the road. Stressing out over all of this and upset over all the delays my other daughter was looking for a radio station to soothe us and hit upon one out of Atlanta that was just announcing "WE HAVE LIVE IN OUR STUDIO- MR. ELLIOTT YAMIN". They interviewed him and played WFY which was the first time I had heard him on my radio! If my car had not broken down I would have not had the chance to hear him. What started out as a sucky trip ended up being saved by Elliott. (My daughter graduated magna cum laude the next morning so that was good too!!)

It was Friday night about 8:00 I think- Star 94 in Atlanta I think they said. I was sooo excited that I'm not sure. They had just finished playing Daugherty- I heard the last bit of that and then they announced Elliott. I couldn't believe my ears! It erased the events of the last preceding hours by saying his name. I know it was out of Atlanta positively.

sorry, meant to add thanks to you both for the congrats to my daughter. She is the first one in my family to ever go to college so this weekend was a very big deal for all of us.
