I have a web site that I've been using for mostly miscellaneous things. I've decided to experiment with making it into a web-based scrapbook for E's tour.

I love reading all of the stories and seeing the pictures and videos but after only 3 concerts I seem to be missing things already.

I have an economy web account which may not be handle too many videos without going over limits, but I feel confident I can handle tons of pictures and any stories anyone might want to submit. This site is still the best place to share stories and pictures with interactions and I wouldn't even considering changing that but it is not accessible to persons who do not wish to register. My site would be a Reader's Digest edition of a summary of Elliott's tour.

I deleted all of the entries I had on my old site and am starting from scratch right now. My first concert won't be until May 27th and I hope I get some great pictures to share. In the meantime, if any of you are interested in getting additional exposure for your stories and pictures, please send me a PM. I'll be leaving for my vacation (which includes my concert) on May 23 but I'll have my laptop with me and should be able to keep up with things.

For some reason Martina McBride's song (which, sorry Elliiott, is my favorite song of this year) "Anyway" keeps running through my mind. Not only has this thread generated little response but I have received no response whatsoever from the four concert goers I have contacted by PM. I'm going to build it anyway!! :)

I'm not sure how to pm peoples, so I'lll ask here. I can get you come pictures and recaps of the UT concert on june 6th if you want me to. I'm almost the only etrainer going.

I'm bringing this to the top one more time now that I have my first attempt of a concert report up and running on my web site. I should have at least two more in the next few days. My goal is to have a page for every concert on the current tour though it looks like that may not be achievable.

I have read so many great recaps and have seen some pictures that rival those taken of professional photographers. But to keep up with everything is becoming more difficult with each additional tour date that passes.

My web hosting service recently upped the traffic limits on accounts and I may even be able to handle some videos though not all of the great ones that are already out there.

My pictures from the Pittsburgh concert were one big disappointment but I included some of them anyway. I'll be refining and revising almost daily, but for now I'm satisfied with the general format I've developed. You can check out the first entry at:

Thanks to Chloewannabee and WeloveUElliott, I now have two additional pages to accompany the two (mine and cfans') that I had up over the weekend. Misty has promised to cover the three upcoming concerts in the Northwest, so things are starting to look really good.

For those of you who might like to have a page but are concerned about getting the stories and/or pictures to me, please take a look at the page I'm developing for Philadelphia for Chloe. To this point, I have done everything simply by taking pictures that she already has posted on this site. Now I'm asking that she select which pictures she wants to include and to submit her story. WeloveUElliott sent me the story via email and I took pictures she already had posted plus some that she requested I retrieve from her photobucket album. I'll work with you in any way I can to get your page the way you want it. The last two pages are still in the development stage and will edited over the next several days.

Once I get out of school Thursday, I'll PM you with my recap and pictures from the Birchemere in Alexandria, VA (the first concert of the tour)

Just send what you have. That 600-800 words was a shot in the dark. We'll see how it looks on the page and take it from there. If your pictures are already up somewhere on Etrain or in one of the photo services that I don't need a name and password for, I can copy them directly. I can also resize any pictures you have.

Oh COOL! I just looked at your site and saw that you had started to make mine up! :) That's awesome.....! As i was reading it again i noticed a few times i sounded redundant...lol! maybe i should have edited it before i sent it to you...OOps...it still sounds and WAS the best night of my life! I am now up to 6 pages though I need the story for one of them and the pictures for another.

I should be getting some more in the next few days, but I'm still hoping to be able to fill in the gaps and have every concert represented at least once.

Hey guys...The webpage is doing great...There are 7 stories on there now...You should check it out...it's a wonderful idea and elliott will be able to see everything from all the shows if at least one person from each show has a story to tell (which we all do ;) and some pics...iT's very organized and neat and Woohoo! There most likely won't be any new pages added today, but I have promises (well maybe not etched in stone promises but at least an expressed interest) for two from the New Jersey concert. I'll be adding one for Denver at the end of next week, and Misty has promised to report on each of the three Northwest concerts of this weekend.

No one has yet come forward to do one for Richmond and I'm really surprised by that.

I have sent PM's to several people that have posted about the Midwest concerts, but thus far none of them has responded. I'm still hopeful that someone will.

I've been so busy with this project and several local volunteer projects that I haven't pursued it yet, but I would like to add a separate tribute page for Josh Hoge and another one for the band. I'll think about those later.

In exchanging emails with individuals who learned of my site through sources other than on Etrain, I have finally come to realize that condensing and editing something they have written poses a problem for a lot of people. I could, and do, work for hours on end in solving the computer-related aspects of the site, but I'm neither good nor patient with editing and revising narrative. Thankfully, cfans is great at both and has volunteered to work with anyone whose stories should be revised to fit the format I have developed for the site. If you're more like I am with the editing and revising than you like cfans, and would like to post your encounter, send a PM to me.

And then there was Cleveland. I now have 22 pages up on my Spring Tour Online Scrapbook with promises for reports on the Denver, Los Angeles and Minneapolis concerts. Once those reports are published, Cleveland will be the only city on the tour without a page on the web site.

I'll be spending time over the next several days working with contributors who have stories of the site and would like to add videos. Soon (I hope), I will download the entire web site to my computer and transfer it to stand-alone autorun CDs which I will give to Elliott, Josh, and the band members.

If you attended any of the Cleveland events, if you know anybody who attended any of them, or if you want to pretend that you attended any of them ( just kidding) I would appreciate your help in getting a Cleveland page up on the site.

Ooh, I have to change my signature now as I'll have at least one page for every stop on Elliott's tour.

And it's getting even better. I changed my web server plan yesterday and I should be able to include a moderate number of videos with the stories. I have added at least one video clip for New York, Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver.
I should have all of the stories completed by this weekend, but can still add videos if the contributor of a story wants them added.
