Who's going besides me and Itslate?

It's not like a Philadelphia orchestra concert, so I guess we wear t shirts and jeans? I'm generally not a concert goer, so I'm clueless. Will it be loud enough for ear plugs? Years back, I was at a Chicago concert at Tweeter in the front rows. Ear plugs weren't even enough. TLA is alot smaller than Tweeter.. I don't expect to be in the front. Does that mean the ear plugs won't be needed??

Elliott mentioned in Delaware that his many Philly relatives would be at the TLA. I doubt we'll get a chance to get autographs again. What do you think?

My husband and I will be there, but I know absolutely nothing about the TLA, other than friends have told me it's a great venue. Here's hoping traffic after work isn't awful between Delaware and Philly. I want to get there early!

I'll be there, too. I was at the TLA a few years back to see Harry Connick Jr. It was the best concert I ever saw (at least up until this Friday night!) It is a very small place from what I remember. It has been remodeled since, so I don't know how big the concert room is now. It

About traffic... shouldn't be too bad from Delaware. My biggest fear is driving down the Schuylkill expressway on a Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. The same direction everyone will be going to the shore. I'm hoping to leave my house at 2, maybe hang out with some old friends in South Philly until uh.. not too late :). Gotta find that bus lol. My son will be taking the train a little bit later to meet me there with his girlfriend.


eta: anyone know if you can bring a camera?

my camera fits in my pocket, so it's coming with me for sure!

Aviva just let me know, it's posted, no camera's. Mine is a little broader than some, won't fit in my pocket without looking VERY strange... has a bigger lens... but I have a makeup bag in which it fits perfectly. :)

Our 4 year old is going to a sleepover at my sister's. We had an extra ticket. I thought his pre school teacher would fall over when I asked her. She's a big AI/Elliott fan.

So, we'll be the intergenerational group, Our daughter is 8. My husband and I are in our 40's. The teacher is a very youthful 60's.

I called the TLA and asked about cameras. The guy said it's not up to them. It's up to Elliott. If he and his people allow cameras, it's ok. So, no need to hide the cameras!

I forgot to mention, the guy also said that screaming young girls have been storming the box office. It will be a sell out or at least a near sell out.
