I just couldn't believe it!

Now, which Idol contestant sang last week and got
criticized by some on this fan board for closing his eyes? Hmmm.....

Totally off topic, and not news, but just a reminder that not only is closing one's eyes
very common while singing, but sometimes customary.

Like totally!! I agree OG, it's common for singers to close their eyes when they are really feeling the song. Josh Hoge had his eyes closed a lot during his set at the Birchmere.

Yes, chris's eye makeup was VERY heavy. LOL Seems so odd since he portrays this super macho rock guy. I watched the show with my daughter tonight and she said WOW look at that eyeliner. lol I read in one of my AI mags that the stylists last year said he was way more metrosexual than people think based on his gruff look. The gruff look is all meticulously orchestrated. they said he was already wearing eye makeup when he started the show and out of all the guys didn't give any hassle to the makeover. They said he was always extremely well manicured, head always completely clean shaven, beard trimmed and gasp he was plucking his eyebrows long before he even made the Top 12.

That is so odd to me! His look is extremely well orchestrated. I at first thought he was the rough and tumble look but he goes to great pains to acheive it.

Elliott is the true rough and tumble boy!

I do like Home tho. I love that song. It was not as good live, if Chris was getting judged by the judges i think they would have nailed him .

Pete Wentz called after the show... he wants his eyeliner back.
