The more I watch Elliott perform live, the more I am hoping that he is taking along some recording engineers to capture what he does on stage and turn it into his next album.
The one weakness with his CD is the backup musicianship which isn't up to the level of Elliott's singing. Live, he's got wonderful musicians playing great stuff behind him.
I bet that a live performance track could go all the way to Number 1 very swiftly because it would be overwhelmingly great.
Anyone else had this thought?
I've been dreaming of an Elliott Unplugged CD for a long time. Seeing the vids from the tour where he sounds smokin' hot (and that's on my crappy computer speakers), makes me long for a tour CD!

Maybe with the Christmas CD, Santa can put an Elliott unplugged CD in our stockings!
I posted in another thread some time back, that I would like to see a professional video of his tour from their perspective. You know the kind of stuff, quirky things that happened on the tour, how they got along, some fan meetings, etc. It would be make a nice package along with the cd.
