I think we have a pretty nice roster this year. Haven't picked out the winner. Last year I predicted the winner the first night - don't know why, I just had a feeling. Maybe it was all the weeping she did!
And I am so glad the aloof BEOTCH went home tonight. Good decision by judges.
They're sure putting the girls through the mill right away. Nude tonight and slimy sea creatures next (plus makeovers). I think the girl who almost went tonite is a goner next week. She looks completey terrified.

Nudity & slimy sea creatures would terrify me too! :eek:

I think the nudity would be the worst -- particularly for your first photo shoot.
I wonder what other creatures there will be -- I only saw a squid (or tiny octopus - not sure) and that was bad enough!
I think Jay will be a great host -- and I like Jeanne Bekker - one savy lady.
And holy hunk, that photographer was quite delicious. :thud:

Frick, once again I obviously missed the first episode! I do that with every season of ANTM too.

I guess I'll have to watch the second episode tonight (actually remember to record it) and see if I can find the first online somewhere.

Jeez - I think I know the winner already if they follow the same pattern as last year. And the winner is…the girl with the long bangs who hates her haircut.
I quite like Sinead - I missed any explanation of why she collapsed (was switching to SYTYCD during commercials). Did they give a reason?
I was a little surprised at the one they sent home, though when they talked about her "big" thighs the first show, I knew she wouldn't last too long. Now that the first beotch was sent home, they have another filling the role and man, she's doing a good job. Can't remember most of their names yet. Have to get a little more familiar with the girls before that sinks in.
I sometimes wonder if they deliberately use information they've learned against some of the girls -- why was the blonde girl given the octopus in the first place when that is a phobia of hers. Seems too much of a coincidence.

Now I have names for the faces and interviews for character insight. However, watching Tara, I am further convinced that the beotch isn't always that in reality. She's going to do a complete switch next episode from the girl you hear in interview.
Loved watching Jay and the judges. I think they make a fabulous team. Gonna be a great season!

I absolutely LOVE Jay as the host although I cannot stand that photographer judge and the gorgeous model judge seems to have the personality of cardboard. But Jay and Janeane (sp?) are awesome.

I don't really have anyone who stands out to me at this point in the game. But I was actually really shocked that they cut the girl they did (her name escapes me at the moment). My problem is that whenever someone starts to ask catty and bitchy I start to dislike them no matter how much potential they have. And it seems that many of them this season will be bringing out the cat claws. So at this point I will be rooting for Sinead.

I think they said Sinead collapsed from dehydration, but who knows the real reason. She very likely could have an eating disorder or something else wrong with her they don't want to disclose on the show.

I think if you listen to the judge's interviews, you may find yourself liking the photographer a little more. And the gorgeous model is also likeable. The interviews did change my opinion of some of the girls (and confirmed my apathy with others).
I'm curious to hear your reaction to the interviews.
And I believe, Ms. Bekker's name is spelt Jeanne.

Anyone else watching the show?? I only caught parts as my favourite show SYTYCD is on at the same time so I was doing a lot of channel switching. I am amazed that Gina went home instead of Cori. They said Cori is regressing and she does seem a trifle weak emotionally. The modelling world would eat her alive! I liked Gina - she had a maturity and sweetness about her that was appealing (as well as those dimples).
I sure hope Sinead keeps it all together -- she was doing so well. She could take it all if she keeps up her game. Though I think Rebecca and Tara may give her a run for the money.

I was disappointed to find that the episodes on the web are just written recaps. I guess it was too good to be true that they'd be actual footage.
