Title: More Minneapolis Photos!

cxiong - June 4, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
Here are my photos of Elliott at yesterdays show. Please excuse the blurriness on most of those photos. I have no clue why my camera was acting up. I was pissed. Oh well, hopefully next time I'll get better shots.

I also got my picture taken with him. He's about my height. LOL. Great guy though. If I would've known he was doing autographs, I would've brought my CD along. But he did sign the shirt I bought, so that's good. Elliott rocks!

Oh I forgot one thing. I took these short video clips of Elliott. First one is "Wait For You." And the second one is "A Song For You" or you could say "A Song For Y'all." I really wanted to take full length videos, but I wasn't too sure how much my memory card could hold. Sorry. But if you want to view the video clips you still can.

^ Sorry about the picture quality in that video. I recorded the video vertically, I know stupid me. :headsmack: . Then I tried rotating the video and that's why you get that weird looking image.

Great pix! Looks like you were closer to the right side of the stage, a little over from me. I especially like the one of you with Elliott, which I will enjoy vicariously, having not stuck around for a photo with him myself.

Here's a preview of some of my photos (unfortunately, the security guard's head was in most of them, so I had to do some creative cropping). They are also not in sequential order:

WeloveUElliott we think alike lol. I was just going to post that picture, saying how much I loved it :)

Nice pics cxiong... you wouldn't happen to have an Olympus would you :), my camera does that fuzzy thing sometimes. Think I finally figured it out though after many many tries.

The sound quality is excellent on your videos. The video is very good too. Just wish you'd gotten full songs... greedy aren't I :).

Thanks so much for sharing.

eta: I hope you don't mind I put your link in appearances thread found in my signature.

WeloveUElliott - Thanks for the comment. I just wished my camera didn't act up and shoot blurry photos. Wow, I didn't notice that picture until you pointed it out. That is a great shot.

BJulz - Yeah, I was pretty close to the stage. Just about one or two persons in front of me. You got some pretty darn good shots of Elliott too. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get a chance to take your photo with him. Hopefully next time.

AngieKay - I know!! You were right in front of me and I didn't even know it was you. Well, its good to know that you at least saw me. LOL. I know what you mean about that security guard in front of you. I felt like he was being real serious too. He kept eying my section, especially when people were taking pictures.

itslate - I actually have a Sony camera. Yeah, pretty lame huh. It's weird because I was getting very irritated that it kept taking blurry shots. At first I thought it was because I was moving a little bit. But when I got home, I was moving all around my house taking random shots, and all the pictures came in clear. Then I thought that maybe I was getting blurry shots because Elliott was moving around. But I also took a random picture of my sister moving around swiftly and the shot still came out clear. So I really don't have a clue on why my photos were blurry. :banghead:

I was really surprised how well the videos came out too. Now I really regret not taking a full length video of his performances. I can't wait til next time!

Thanks to everyone else for the great comments! It was definitely a great show!

cxiong I've been playing around with some of my blurry pictures, and Adobe and many other photo programs help clear the blurriness some (not the extremely blurry ones). I took 400 pictures at each concert I went to... so I was bound to get some good ones lol.

Your camera was probably trying to compensate for the low lighting by decreasing the shutter speed. With Elliott running around as much as he does lol, guess we were bound to get blurry pictures. Maybe you have some sort of over-ride. I figure by the 10th concert I may get mine right :).

Just want to show you, my favorite picture you took, how you can decrease the blurriness by using a sharpening filter. Use it too high and they get weird looking.

Thank you E-Trainers for sharing all of your wonderful pics of Elliott's performances! From the pictures, it seems that Elliott puts his heart and soul into performing his songs! It's so wonderful to see that Elliott is not only one awesome vocalist, but also quite the Entertainer! Elliott :rocker: !

My sentiments exactly. I was lucky enough to go to one of his concerts and meet him and it's been great reading about all the other etrainers' experiences too. Thanks, everyone. :)

Thanks itslate for the tip about the camera. I think that was the problem too. The low lighting was probably the cause for the blurriness. I'll try and test out a few things with the camera so that I can get a better picture next time.

Yeah, I've noticed that too, that if you sharpen the photo it does decrease the blurriness in the photos. It will have to do. :)
