Hey guys, here is another Minneapolis recap! :D I doubt this will be short:

My friend and I finally found the place at 5:00-ish, after walking around town like idiots for 30 minutes! And we could HEAR him rehearsing! He was singing “I’m The Man”. Of course we freaked out and listened at the door, like crazy stalkers! :lol: Then an employee popped her head out of the club and shoo-ed us away, saying it wasn’t open for a while. A few other fans appeared and we bugged the woman for a few minutes with questions. My friend and I got some food but when we came back at 6:30, there was a long line out the door. While waiting in line, Elliott appeared by his bus alone! People screamed his name and he laughed, waved and went back in the building. He came back again a little later and went inside his bus. I’m sure he was creeped out, a long line of people just staring at his bus. Haha!

It started to rain, so I was using my body to protect the poster I made. It didn’t work too well lol. Finally at 7:00, we were let inside! Me and my friend walked right up to the front row! I was surprised people weren’t standing by the stage yet! So we had the BEST seats, front row!!!! I was freaking out! Soon, there was a large crowd by the stage waiting for Josh to open. He was very talented, a very pretty voice! I was the one who screamed ‘Nice Shirt’, regarding his Elliott shirt. He was like, “You like that?” Haha! I elbowed my friend and said we should hold up one of the signs for Josh too. We did and it worked!!!! The poster read “It’s My Birthday, Can I Have a Hug?!” Josh gave her a hug and I got a picture of it!!!! (She turned 21!) I was also happy that a man a few people over that we met earlier got a birthday hug too! Hahaha that was SO funny! Josh’s comments were hilarious.

When Josh left the stage, they sent out big security dudes to push the crowd back 5 feet for Elliott. The security man in front of me was a riot! He popped up his collar, put on a woman’s sunglasses (since the lights were in his eyes) and struck some poses for us, claiming he was a long lost cousin of Ne-yo! Haha! We talked to him for a bit.

Then …………. ELLIOTT arrived. :elliottelliott: The crowd went crazy!! I was SO star struck, with him being so close to me. He is amazing live!! I’m pretty sure he heard me scream, “YOU’RE HOT” at the beginning haha!! I can’t wait to upload my pics to share with you all! I made eye contact with him several times! And I didn’t know what else to do but smile like a fool and dance dance! Haha! It really did feel like we were dancing with him, we were so close!
And then he saw my friend’s birthday poster and wished her a happy birthday!!! She almost cried lol. When he sang “One Word”, we held up the other poster for him that said, “All we can say is (you’re) AMAZING!” haha cheesy but he smiled. :D

I loved every song, especially ‘Trainwreck’! And I loved the smile he gave when the crowd was screaming SO loud for ‘Wait For You’. Adorable. He left and his girlfriend hopped on the stage and took a picture of the crowd. She was in the front row during the show. Soon everyone was chanting his name and there he was again! I couldn't tell if he was just maybe tired, but I swear it almost looked like he teared up when he came out to the chants! He did a little wiggle dance on the stage hahaha the crowd was loving him! I got a video of his encore performance of “A Song For You” on my digital camera!

After the show, I bought an Elliott shirt and Josh CD. I met Josh and got a picture and autograph! He is very cute and very friendly! He was actually getting some blonde girls’ digits…. Ooh la la. Lol.

Then we waited in line for Elliott for a bit. Soon, the security guy appeared again and said he was keeping an eye on me, I wasn’t to be trusted. Lol. It then started to hit me that I was about to MEET ELLIOTT and my heart was racing! I couldn’t tell you what I said to him! I remember he said, “How are you?” and “Thanks for coming” and asked my name and stuff. Amazingly, he remembered me and my friend from the front row hahaha! He told her, “Happy birthday again!”. What a sweet guy!!!! We actually SKIPPED out of the place, we were so happy! And my friend was screaming “Elliott said happy birthday! Twice!!” :fangirly:

I can't stop staring at the picture of me and Elliott. Gotta frame that thing! :awe: What an amazing guy, staying for hours meeting every single fan. Just wow. I hope he comes back to town soon!

I could talk about this for hours, so I'll just shut up now! :cheerleader1:
