Hey all!!!!

First off i want to say that I LOVE all of you that i met this weekend and my head is SOOO full right i dont think i remember anyones names so i am SOOOO sorry in advance!

I JUST walked in the door and HAD to post to let you all know that my Trifecta weekend had come to an end. It was the best 3 days ever! :awe:

Elliott was great at all the shows!

I am SO tired ( i am going on about 6 hours of sleep in 3 days) so i am going to write up all my reviews and pics tomorrow! I Cant wait to tell you all about my weekend. But its my turn to be a tease :lol: Na joking! Ha! well maybe not! Wow i am TIRED i am getting goofy posting...

OK so... Here goes round one!

First off i want to explain that I had a HUGE last min. "kink" in my planns that almost made Vancouver show a no go for me But my Dad stepped up and decided to drive his, in his words, "groupie daughter" to Vancouver! So i just wanted to put that out there! My Dad Rocks, He saved his 28 yr old daughter! Woo Hoo DAD!! :rocker:

Ok now that that is done! I have this GREAT BIG HUGE fear of bridges over water and there is this HUGE bridge between Elliott and I. Due to the kink i mentioned earlier i had to drive myself to Portland and over that bridge! I was nervous But i got up at 6 AM and got ready to head to Portland. I took my son to the sitter and headed on my road trip at about 10:00. I got to the bridge and turned Elliott up as loud as i could stand it and... I DID IT!!! i drove right over that dang bridge! WOO HOO!!! i was already excited about just having conqured one of my biggest fears that there was no comming down! HA! SO i get to the venue at about 11:30. I meet with my friends at about noon and wait for the bus. Here it comes at aroung 10 after 12. We wave and Felix comes off the bus and right over to us! He talks to us for a few and i asked if i could have a pic with him since some of us were looking for good pics of him and had not been able to found any. I mentioned the Etrain and he said "oh cool you all ARE like a big family huh!" Way cute! Him and Russel help the bus back into the fenced in area to unload the trailer.. (I was hoping to see Chloe and Harley jump out of it! ha ha ha.. JK!) So we talk to Russell and Oliver and take some pics. Then out comes the Infamous AARON!! WHAT A DOLL! I said that Harley woman said hi and we just kept going from there! Thanks for the ice breaker Harley! He hung out with us off and on throughout the day as well as Russell and Oliver! They are all great guys really!

IT is APPLE JUICE in his cup not Beer ha ha ha!!




Another friend and her mom meet up with us and her mom held our prime front of the line spots for us while we waited for Elliott to come off the bus! Then she calls me and says that there are some etrain girls there that know me so i run out to the front and say to say hi! I am so sorry but i do not remember everyones names my head is so full and i am bad with names already! ha! So anyways i graciously excuse myself and head back to the back of the venue. I see Josh on the way and he knows me from Myspace and we talk for a few. So anyways! We are waiting for Elliott and he finally comes off the bus. He walks over to our group that had grown from the 4 of us to about 8 or so big... He points at me and says "Misty you're here!" I almost died he remembered me! We asked if he was comming out of the fence and he said yeah. My friends tell me to go first since i had been here longest and the others agree! I gave him a copy of a pic of us from the Seattle Meet and Greet in April and he tells Russel that "this one is going on the bus".. meaning the pic! He signs my things i get a hug and a pic and back away to go talk to Aaron some more. luxrocks1, i wish that you would have joined us, I would have taken pics for you! RM.. I tried to call you but for some reason it kept telling me your number was an invalid! I hope i didnt put it in my phone wrong! SO i am SORRY!! :(






Anyways. Its time to go line up. I was suposed to have my tickets at Will Call and they wernt there!! I freaked and had to buy another one! So i am off and i get FRONT AND CENTER! Joshes stool is RIGHT infront of me i could have reached out and touched the mic stand!



So Josh comes out. I have his cd and love it so i loved his set. The sound did kind of echo in the little room but i think he sounded GREAT! I love that guy..."he can sang" ha ha ha! :rotfl: Love you Joshy! So his set was over a little to quick for me but i was so excited to see Elliott live up close!



After about 20 min or so of waiting out comes the band. You all know Elliotts set list by now so i am not going to relist them all even if i could remember the order ha ha ha!! He was so beyond my wildest expectations! The youtube videos, tv and cd are NOTHING compared to how he is live! He exudes greatness! I was moved to tears a few times. "A Song For You" always does it to me so i was in total awe :awe: and just in my little Elliott world that my friend had to take my camera and take pics for me!






I ended up with his water bottle off the stage and wanted to get it signed but i was so sunburnt from waiting in the sun all day i just wanted to run outside and cool off. Well they wouldnt let me back in! I was so sad then I had a rescue from a special someone that took it in and had E sign it for me. So i find my friends back at the bus and we wait. We see Aaron, Ollie and russell and chat some more with them and Aaron says to me " I saw u crying!" I was like OMG! no way hes going to laugh at me! But he didnt he came out of the fence and gave me a big ol hug and said that he was so glad to see me so moved and that I moved him with MY tears! Elliott came back out to the bus after he was done inside. He didnt come out from behind the fence but there was a nice sized gap that his cute little head fit through so he signed and took pics with everyone. A few girls were like go your next but i wanted to make sure that everyone who had not seen him yet got a turn and I even took a few pics for people! Then it was my turn again! He thanked me for comming and said" your comming to canand too right!" I said yep he said "see ya there" and we took another pic together. He was wearing orange and looked ADORABLE in it.. had to put that in there sorry! Then jokingly i said how about a kiss to hold me over and pointed to my cheek and he said "oh yeah totaly" and KISSED MY CHEEK!!!! OMG!!!!! :thud: :thud: :thud: my friend yells out oh no do it again so i can get a pic! so there i am on a street corner in Portland Oregon with Elliott Yamin holding his lips against my cheek for a picture! I could have died! We were laughing because it took so long for the pic to take! He is truley a sweet soul! He says goodnight and we are the last to leave. And i head home to pick up my dad and his car to start round two!

OMG i cant believe i forgot about Ollies Birthday! Elliott was telling us all that at midnight it was Ollies birthday said it was a bit early ....then got really quiet.. well me being me i started yelling.. "Happy Birthday...." Elliott smiled and pointed at me and said hey and started singing along.. the entire croud joined it! It was great! And when i was talking to Elliott after the show he thanked me for starting happy birthday and we had a little laugh!

Incredible story! Just love it....can't wait for the rest of the story....it can't get any better...can it????????? :rocker:

Awwwwwww, sweetie, about crossing that "bridge" both literally and figuratively speaking, I think that is so AMAZING!!! congrats to you sweeite, and I think YOU are just amazing!! What a wonderful, terrific, beautiful recap, and I just can't wait to see the pics!! Oh yeah, and you have two more shows to recap TOO!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Isn't it just incredible that, although we KNOW for a fact how wonderful Elliott is, he continues to surpass even our greatest expectations? Thanks Misty, for sharing your fantastic experience with us.

Misty!!! Thanks so much for your recap. It was amazing. I loved reading every single word of it. Your pictures are great!! So clear. Elliott is just the best in the entire world, universe even!!! Misty-great recap! I'm a little teary eyed just reading about your amazing experience and going through withdrawal from my own. Elliott is such a wonderful guy and his voice is just the beginning. Ok so on to round two!

Round two...Vancouver,BC

So after i left Elliott in Portland i headed back to I5 to head home. I was on cloud 12! ha So the bridges were no problem! I was actually halfway over it before i realized that i was on it! ha ha ha!

Anyways as i said before my road trip buddies had a VERY unexpected death so they could not go to Vancouver. The breaks on my car breaks are bad so my dad offered to rescue me and drive me up to Canada! So the plan was for me to stop in Centralia and switch cars and get my dad on the way to Seattle where our hotel was. So my dad and i check into the hotel at around 330 am and only get about 3 hours of sleep. My grandpa had told my dad that it would take us about 2 hours to get over the border so we headed out pretty early. It was a long wet drive but Elliott was on the other end so it was all worth it! The border only took us about 15 min! The lady asked why we were there and my dad says a concert and she sayd who are u seeing he says "Elliott Yaammin or something like that"(Like he doesnt know!) LOL.. i yell at her ELLIOTT YAMIN!! she laughs and we were in canada!! WOO HOO!!



So we find the Commodore pretty easily and we park in a lot almost directly behind it. It is raining and wet and cold.. we find out our big umbrella is BROKE and all we have is this tiny one that we both cant fit under! OH no... well i make do and throw on my daughtry hoodie and head out to scope out the venue. I find out that there isnt a cool little gated area like in Portland. Only a small alley way behind the club.. well i am NOT going to wait all day in a rat infested alley :lol:.. so we go get some food where i can see the ally in case the bus drives in. After food we go to hang around the front doors of the venue. its just too cold and wet to walk around! At one time my dad said something like he should have made a tshirt that said "I am with the groupie" and i laughed and said no dad it needs to say "mistys DAD" he laughed and i said with "staff" on the back! HA HA HA...He loved it and said that if he had any extra cash he would have gone to the coustom tshirt shop across the street and had it made! So I am making it for him for fathers day!! :D

At around 3ish my dad and I decide to walk from a coffee shop we had taken shelter in to check the alley (we couldnt see it from the coffee shop).and low and behold.. There is the bus trying to get down the alley. They make it and they are looking confused as to how far down the ally the venue is so i yell at them that it is this door right here.. I scoped it all out earlier remember ha ha ha... I get a "thank you" and "hey you are the girl from last night" and a great hug from Zack i think his name was?! and wait to see of any of the guys are going to jump off the bus and say hi. Well Mr Russell Ali didnt let me down he comes right off the bus and says it is ok for me to come over for a hug and some chat time with him. Monet comes over and thanks me for telling them where the door is and says that they cant load anything until around four. Josh waves from his bus. Russell says he will be right back and as i am standing there waiting for him i see a HUGE and i mean HUGE rat come running out from a dumpster. I yelled like a scared little girl.. "Ewww there is a huge effin rat!" ha ha ha Russell was comming off the buss at the time and laughes at me.Says everyone is still sleeping and that hes going to go eat. So dad and I head to the car to get a drink and warm up a bit. We can see the bus from the car and when we see it move a little we run over in time to see them pulling away. I was later told that everyone had gotten off and the bus had gone to find a parking spot. I see Janet at the end of the ally and i run after her to say hi! She is a very sweet girl and her friends were nice too!

Anyways, we all kinda go our own ways saying we will save eachothers spots in line when one forms... its now about 5 or 530 and we are the only 6 or so there! I was starting to worry it might be a amall crowd. Then... OMG... I can hear Elliotts sweet voice through the crack in the door.. its sound check! I met up with artymom and we talk for a few. Then the venue guys come out and tell us that the line is going to start over there.. and i say "where.. in the rain!" he says "yep!" someone says "we have to stand in the rain".. he says back "u can stand where ever u want but the line starts there!" Dang it.. so out to the rain i go! But the rain stoped a little after we started the line. Janet and her friends joined us. The line was for all things...will call, ticket holders and guest list...and they set up these fences we are thinking ok they are going to hurd us in in one big line to make it fair to those first in line who have will call tickets like i did! OH NO were we wrong. It was all hokey! They let me in first and sent me to will call then the next group needed to buy tickets and the next group had them.. the ones who had them got to go right in before us that had been in the rain all day... weird! Anyways yet again no tickets at the will call!! I am getting mad and thank God Jess and her mom didnt get rid of their tickets so i had them in my pocket. I weasel my way into the line to get into the venue with my daddy in tow. I run up the stairs thinking man there goes my front row sopt..but what i saw when i got up there was crazy! Everyone was RUNNING not for the stage but for the tables! So i walk all calm right to the front and center spot once again! WOO HOO!!! I am here and there comes Janet and her friends! and miss ayela too! It was great we all were right up close!

Josh came out and sang his little heart out! He was great as usual. He sings with such passion. He also mentioned his "mancrush" on elliott again. I love how he geuninly loves elliott (and not in that way!LOL)! I cant say enough about him! Elliott and the band were off to the side of the stage dancing and being silly durring Joshes set! Aaron and I were making faces at eachother too. That guy is a total riot i tell you what! Anyways, Josh did very well and i was almost as happy to see him as i was elliott!




Now it was Elliotts turn!He came out looking just TOTALY adorable! I mean THUDD with two d's! :thud: :thud: :thud: :thud: :thud: ha ha ha He sang the same songs as the night before. i think he left one out but i dont remember which one. He was drinking soda and shaking a little so Think his sugars were a little low, after about the 3rd soda he said.. "Thats better" so the show went on and he was AMAZING! It was Olivers birthday and Monet came out on stage with a little cake of somesort with candles in it and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to him. He blushed a little but i KNOW he loved it because in Portland i said i was going to sing to him again in Vancouver and he said i better! Again i cried durring the same three songs, One Word, Take my breath away and ASFY. Aaron and I caught eachothers attention and he ran his finger down his face like a tear and then did the rock on sign! He totaly loved it that i was so moved by Elliott! I even got his towel after the show!





So now the show is over. my dad who had sat at a near by table so that we all had somewhere to keep our things and to sit if we wanted to (yeah right). I rush over to him in tears and thank him SOOO much! He says "you are welcome hunny i know how much he means to you." he says you go to the bathroom and i will save u a spot in line to see Elliott. What a sweet Daddy! So i come out of the bathroom and see my dad. I join him in line but then see Felix waving at me from across the room. I run over to open arms and get a nice hug from him. He thanks me for coming and i head back to see my dad. On the way i see Russell and Juni. They say hey and give hugs. And Juni asks if i have found Aaron yet and that he is outside. So i tell my dad that i will be right back and head off to see Aaron and have him sign my towel! I find him and we chat for awhile. He says he will come meet my great dad who rescued me! So we walk hand in hand to join my dad in line. A few girls say cute little things like OMG shes holding his hand and OMG hes so hot as we walk buy.. I have to admit it was kinda cool ! SssHHH..... So anyways he meets my dad and they talk for a few.. Both telling me later how cool the other was! I take a few pics for some fans of them and Aaron and its getting closer to my time with Elliott.. Monet is telling the security that people are not to be taking pics because the line is so long so no pics for me. But i did get him to sign my button from Chloe and he saw my daughtry hoodie and was like this is so cool i need to get one of these! It was cute he tried to sign it and i was like oh no not my hoodie the button! ha! So nopics of us in Vancouver i didnt want to take anyones time since i was going to see him tomorrow. SO as i am walking away he grabs my hand and says "see you tomorrow misty good night sweetheart!" and i am off.. on cloud nine again. He also told me that he had gotten the tshirt that i sent back stage with "Mowhawk Guy" and that he loves it....(so if anyone going to future shows sees him wearing a black pink floyd shirt please get a pic for me! and i got Josh one that says Woody with woody wood pecker on it and would love a pic of that as well!)





Well i have written a book now so i shal end this second chapter by saying that we got held for a little while at the border on the say home because our stay was only about 13 hours but my dad showed the skeptical guard our ticket stubs! At 430 we get back to the hotel for a little sleep and Elliott again tomorrow!!! :elliottporsche:
