My daughter's friend Anissa that lives across the street, (she is 11) came over tonight, and after being here a few times and me playing E endlessly, and her finally hearing wait for you on the radio, she came here and BEGGED me for an Elliott CD!! (lol, I have some spares, just for occasions such as this...) I caught her and my daughter watching E's video on ON DEMAND on the TV, and I heard her say, " this is absolutely the most favorite song I ever heard in my LIFE!!!"
Eleven or not, she is one smart COOKIE!!!

Although, I doubt Yellin would ever be able to keep that many cd's stocked...she would be movin them too fast!!

Same kinda thing happened with me.I let my friends daughter listen
to the cd and told her about the video,she LOVES it,she told me she watches the video constantly!She's thirteen with alot of friends,they all love it!
I let my neighbour listen to it the other day,she came out of the house and said,
"he's got one hell of a sexy voice!" Don't we know it!He's gaining new fans by the second.I'm loving it!Even my 36 year brother really digs his music!I knew he'd see it my way! :cheerleader1: :rocker:

Haha that is too funny!! I also recruited a new fan by endlessly playing Elliott :rotfl: She's my cousin and she's 12 years old. She really likes Wait For You and even bought it off iTunes and has it on her iPod. When she told me, I was kind of shocked because her "favorite song of all time" as she says is Umbrella ella ella. My sister, who is also 12, is begiing to like "Alright". :etrain:

I just recruited a new fan myself. I was talking with a co-worker about music and I mentioned that I just adore Elliott. Well, she e-mailed me today and told me she'd just heard this great song (Wait For You) and was just floored that it was Elliott. She just raved about it. Chalk up another one for E! :cheerleader1:

I love those stories...I have a "Travel Elliott CD"...I just carry the empty case with me when I commute to work...and once every train ride I reach into my bag as if I am looking for something and pull it out in hopes that someone glimpses it and it spurs a purchase. Hey you never know!!
