I know there were quite a few people from here who went to the portland show so I thought I would post.

And does anyone know the age limits for this night club?

I'm wondering about the source of the information. Those early concert dates changed somewhat after they were announced.

Yes, yes, in his blog, Elliott mentioned an acoustic show on July 26 in Portland. I just read it and was going to PM Misty about it because I knew she would have the details. :thud:

I'm wondering though whether you really need to open an account at Harry Ritchie's to get tickets to the show??

I would love to see him in an an acoustic show. His vocals would be up front and center. :awe:

I just called Harry Ritchie jewelers and was told that not only did you have to open an account with them, but you needed to charge $299.00 to get a pair of tickets. :bricks: :arg:

This is so sad. Hopefully some well connected Etrainer can find some information about how to get tickets without having to do this.

Yeah, I emailed them and got the same reply, I was not exactly happy at the news. I hope someone can find out how to get tickets without all of this, it's highway robbery! :blink: :dunno: :madashell:

My birthday is July 5. Guess what I asked my husband to get me for my birthday? That's right, jewelry from Harry Ritchie's. :rotfl: I went to their Lloyd Center store this afternoon and looked around. The first thing that caught my eye was a necklace. Can you guess how much the necklace is? $300.00!

My husband says, no way am I getting a $300.00 piece of jewelry for my birthday. Although he did let me give him the business card of the person who showed me around today. :pray:

I had the luxury of having a birthday three days after the promotion began. :woohoo: :thumbsup: :woohoo:

Spoke to the corporate office at Harry Ritchie's this morning. They were quite nice, but could not provide details. Said they were just sponsoring the event and Z100 had made all the arrangements.

I called Z100 and was referred to Chris Weber, their promotions manager. I left a message on his voicemail and am hoping to hear back. :beg:

I asked whether he'd be there with his band, whether it'd be an abbreviated concert etc. :elliottelliott:

Whatever I find out, the :etrain: will be the first to know!

I heard today that Elliotts set will be 90 min long and that the club wants to open after the show to the general public. I forgot to ask about the band but i have heard that it is accoustic and will be a semi small crowd!!

What I've gathered about the Barracuda club, they have private rooms for performances as well as the main club that anyone over 21 can patronize. I'm thinking this will be the case for Elliott's show. :awe: Have you heard differently?

Ack, I wish I was over 21 (I'm almost there - 20! Argh!) and this wasn't some covert, spend-$300 thing...I'll even be close to Portland when this is going on. How frustrating.
