Designing a web page that is pleasing to most users can be very tricky because there are so many variations of screen size and resolution. If you would take about 2 minutes to do this little procedure and report the answer back here I would really appreciate it.

Click on Start and then Control Panel. Click on Display and then the Settings Tab (the very last one). Near the middle of the box, it gives you your screen resolution (800x600, 1280 x1024, etc). Please report that number back in this thread. It would also help if I know the size of your monitor but it's not nearly as important as the resolution.

Thanks to all who replied. Seeing that all of you had a width of at least 1000 pixels convinced me to make some changes on my web site as I was spacing for a width of 800 and it was looking like too much wasted space on my screen.
