Well, it is that time of year fellow fans of comedy. It is time to see who will make us laugh so much we cry.....or maybe the comedian just makes us cry. Josh Blue, the winner from last year was incredibly talented and funny. This year, the three talent scouts are Kathleen Madigan, Ant, and Alonzo Bodden. All three of those comedians are very dynamic and hilarious.
Do you have any favorites yet? I think I will wait until the semi-finals begin.
My favorite style of comedy is one that combines observational/life humor along with great characterization of people the comic has met. If it seems like it is just a series of disgruntled jokes, I tend to become lost....but not as lost as the people on the show lost...more like Survivor lost, but not lost.
So basically people who can have a cohesive storyline that combines life experience with social observations tend to be my favorite. A good example would be Josh Blue from last season. He was brilliant at integrating observational humor of things around him as well as developing consistently funny characters of people he mad met through his life.
Wow, I'm disappointed this year. Some of the most creative and talented comics didn't make it to the final. I think I like 4 at most out of the top 10. Where last year I liked the majority.
I haven't followed LCS this year. There is another show on that I like at the same time, so I've been missing it.
I loved John Heffron and Josh Blue from previous seasons.

Josh Blue, Kathleen Madigan, Alonzo Bodden, and Ant are my 4 favorite comics from all of the seasons combined. They always had such hilarious personal stories and solid relational material through portraying other characters at times too.
This year, I really like Gina Y.
Of course, Gina was eliminated yesterday.
I think Ralph Harris is hilarious. He really brought his comedy to another level.
