I wonder too, it's a little confusing. VH1 cite says he going to be a guest on 9/1 and I-Squad says he's going to host but doesn't have a date of when it will air.

I-Squad could have the "hosting" part wrong, it's happened before.

Hosting?! I hope that it's true, but it could be that he will just make a guest appearance, let's hope for the hosting duties though! :awe:

I contacted the iSquad regarding Elliott hosting or appearing. Here is their response.

I'm just reporting what Elliott's label told me. If they give me different
info, I'll post that. Until then, I can only go by what they're saying to
me.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I think it's a mistake. VH1 says he will be a guest on the show. We know I-Squad gets it wrong sometimes. I think, in my opinion, we shouldn't get too excited until it either shows up on VH1 or Elliott's myspace.

Wow, I hope that report is correct! He's a natural for that gig so he'll be great. Perhaps the head honchos at Vh1 were impressed with his gigs on Sirius and XM 20/20 and offered him a hosting spot.

Has it happened before with any other artists? I've only seen it with Aamer Haleem hosting.

What great exposure for him! He is going to do a fabulous job!! Could that be the day a new single will be available or maybe even a new video? Just speculating. :elliottcap:

I-Squad has corrected. He's not hosting but appearing as a guest. I-Squad E-Mail received today.

ok..thanks for the clarification Harley. I don't usually watch the countdown
( too much other 'music' to stomach) but i def. will on that Saturday. Does anyone know what the guest does? For example..will he get much air time..is it like an interview? Just curious.

He is doing big things. I can't wait to see it.

I remember when Maroon 5 was on, the host interviewed them twice for a few minutes each time. Had them introduce the next video, etc.. I suspect it might be the same w/ Elliott. Can't wait to watch it!

Check your local listings but it's on here on Sat. and Sun. mornings..and also Tuesday sometime-great show-they live little tidbits of info about the artists..and paly all the videos..

Most likely this is the filming of the interiview.
