Hey Norva bound Etrainers...

The concert date has changed "a few" times and with each change more and more people are contacting me about the pre dinner reservations at Kelly's Backstage Tavern. Initially, I was told we have room for 50 people...I am VERY close to that now. Please check to make sure I have you on the list and update me with any changes you may have.

I am going to contact Kelly's to see IF we have room for anymore...We may need to just rent the whole building and have a private party...Anyone game for chipping in...IF they would "rent" the whole restaurant for a private party? I don't know IF they would do it or not...But say we get 70+ people and everyone paid $10 each as admission and then buy all your own drinks & meals. They would make $700 for rental PLUS!!!! Hummmmmmmm that would be cool!

Please check the list and let me know asap if you are still coming...Also, please comment on the idea of a private party!!!

WOW what a gang we have!!! I hate to say it, but I sure wish it was still in August!!! I am still going to find us a block of rooms for Friday & Saturday night...I will post info soon!!!

I'm good with whatever is needed! Still planning on attending and will be staying the night - somewhere! I am actually really glad that this got changed to Saturday!!

I spoke with my contact at Kelly's yesterday. Apparently the restaurant is already booked up on Nov. 10th, so I am unable to increase our dinner reservation or do a "private party"!

However, they are open until 2am on Saturday night...so after the concert we can all meet back at Kelly's to celebrate Elliott's return to Virginia.

I have reserved a block of 20 rooms at a nearby hotel called the Tazwell for Fri. & Sat. night. This is for those of you who are coming from out of town or for those of us locals looking for a weekend getaway! Unfortunately, there is a HUGE convention in town that weekend and it is difficult to get a "block of rooms" Please see my other post re: hotel reservations at...

I never imagined we would have a hard time finding rooms...So I encourage everyone to reserve your rooms ASAP...The Tazwell needs to be confirmed by Oct. 8th.
