I love the way he just blows everybody else away when he opens his mouth to sing in that video! That was when he caught my attention. Thanks for posting and bringing back that great moment!

Omigod!! That was sooooooooooooo much fun to watch!. I hadn't watcheD ai, when that show was on, only saw it much later. I have the song on one of my cd's, and every time I hear the twin, and that little snort he does each time he takes a breath, i crack up!!
Elliott was so "on" despite his lack of sleep/rehearsal...oops, except for "kiss her tight". I must have heard that a hundred times before I realized that the words were mixed up! He covered it well!

I love that video. Elliott is THE MAN. He handled himself perfectly with the Britnam twin. Stood up for himself, gracefully. I LOVE how he just shakes his head in the hall after the performance when Britnam starts dogging the other guy...he wanted no part of that crap.

I've always wondered what the twin's reaction was after he found out why Elliott had to sleep and eat. I bet you Randy, Paula, and Simon already knew about Elliott's diabetes when the twin ran off at the mouth.

Funny this link was posted because yesterday I found myself on YouTube watching old videos of AI5/Elliott. He has grown so much in confidence and it shows in his singing. I never thought his singing could improve from AI5 but wow, it has but even then he was so much better than everyone else.

As much as I love all the videos of Elliott singing, this one is my very favorite. Because it was here that I first fell in love with that voice. I have it saved to my favorites, and I watch it every now and again. And even just now watching it again, I got shivers when I heard those "woah, oh, ohs" and I'm still blinking back tears. Never has a voice affected me like that.

I remember how pleased I was when we found out what kind of person he was. I didn't understand how he could be so ignored by the show that they hardly ever showed him. What was wrong with those people? Well, it all turned out right at the end, didn't it? Except it's not the end, and we have quite a ride ahead of us still.

Thanks for the link. Always love seeing Elliott's intro to the world. I missed the auditions and only caught him the first night of Top 12. Needless to say, I fell in love. :awe:

I really like Elliott - isn't he someone you can just really enjoy being with - you're cute too Rick. Anyway I really had never seen this whole clip before - it was great. I enjoyed the breakfast part - never saw it before - so funny - "seems a little upset, but . . ." so cute.

I'm glad that you got to see the whole clip. Elliott did not seem too concerned that Terrell was upset. LOL.

Did anyone notice that Chris was the first one to hug Elliott when he came through the door after making it into the final 12 males? Cute.

Actually I think that's Sway, not Chris that hugs Elliott. They became fast friends, and still are.

It was Chris. Sway was wearing a track suit. Chris had on jeans and a jacket. If you look closely, you will see the pocket wallet chain. Plus, Sway got his good news before Elliott and had already rejoined his family.

I sure would like to have a download of that vid... I have a shorter versions but I'd like to have that long one - you know, for posterity... :)

I just love watching that again.
