It really does not matter as long as his name is spelled correctly on the check!!

Don't care at all, swimming...many things have double letters that people misspell, like Llama is often spelled lama. You're probably familiar with that one, though.

I'm sure his people will make sure the concert programme will spell “Elliott”, and I’m sure his people will make sure the cheque is spelled correctly.
