jensolo5 - May 18, 2006 09:33 PM (GMT)
Who can't stop looking for more interviews or pictures?
Who can't stop coming here and AI.com for comments?
Who can't stop listening to your homemade CD?
This is bad!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on this daggone computer ALL DAY going between this site, E's AI board, reading articles about E, etc. Hey, I wouldn't have it any other way.
And my husband thought he'd have me back after Elliott left. I'm really happy we're all still together to carry on. :D
elphenomena - May 18, 2006 09:39 PM (GMT)
Me too!!! The additiction continues.....
jensolo5 - May 18, 2006 09:42 PM (GMT)
i have OCD and ADD (self diagnosed, of course) and i'm bouncing all over the place today.
I swear to GOD i'm going to get fired. I'm approximately 3 days behind as of right now. The only watch to catch up would be to stop Elliotting and I can't seem to refrain.
i close the sites and I do a small pile and then i reward myself with opening all the sites back up.
I just can't control my impulses.

I'm back with ya'll too. Besides the magnetic spell that E seems to have cast on us, I felt after returning to the boards last night after 'The Fall' or 'The Rising' that I just fell off a cliff. No more connection to my E cousins, no more weekly E music to make the world more beautiful. It was not a pleasant feeling. Then I remembered that we always have choices in life. Mine was to turn this around, make peace with it, and find a way to keep the E-dream alive. E's voice in the world is too important to drop and passively wait to see what happens. I want to stay pro-active here and help him be able to get his voice out there. And to stay connected with you guys who also feel so moved. The E-Train doesn't have to come to a screeching halt. It just needs to switch tracks to ones that provide a kinder ride, with less manipulation and more fun and joy!

I cannot stop either....... I live in remote VT and nobody else around me watches it........I never watched it til about 7 weeks ago....now I am a E-junkie...hah
vagirl - May 18, 2006 09:53 PM (GMT)
I'm doing the exact same thing! in fact it's why I joined this board
I've never been like this about any other AI contestant in the past!
ObxVaGirl - May 18, 2006 10:02 PM (GMT)
HA, ME TOO! Glad I am not the only one, I have been glued to this computer all day.
gloomyeeyore - May 18, 2006 10:03 PM (GMT)
I cannot stop either I am constantly jumping between this message board and the AI message board and listening to downloaded music and looking for pictures, I am seriously addicted.
mommyto2stinkers - May 18, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
I'm glad that I'm not the only one lol. Elliot has made me feel young again :P I'm only in my early 40's married but I am just gaga over this young man. :D
KrazeeK120 - May 18, 2006 10:43 PM (GMT)
I couldn't wait to get home all day to try to find interviews and more info about E!
lilbella - May 19, 2006 12:16 AM (GMT)
I am so addicted to these boards now that it is scary. I have also been switching radio channels online all day to hear any interviews. I don't know how I am gonna continue on to this and keep my job. But hey I have my priorities so if the job has to go then I'll be ok. Lol. All right well love talking to you all and seeing your opinions. Thanks for being here through this roller coster journey. Hope to meet some of you at the AI tour.
dcmdf - May 19, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
I can't stop feeling badly. That's what I want to go away.
AshleyPacka - May 19, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)

Same here...my DH actually said that next year, I would need to choose the contestant who goes first so it's not too stressful around the house on Tuesday nights (voting time) and Wednesday nights (results). Anyway, I feel bad coz my family thought they had me back after last night...well, it's been a slow process. I have been scheduling most talk shows to record and Entertainment news so I won't miss anything pertaining to Elliott!! Sigh.....but at least, it's good to know that I'm not alone on this venture...did tell DH that I was thankful and appreciative with all the patience he has shown me during this AI period....I also thanked him for allowing me to attend the concert in Richmond...He actually has been so great...except for the times when he told me that AI was totally controlling my life, lol!! Oh, well...considering that I've neglected majority of my housework, balancing the checkbook, not going to the gym regularly, not watching the Mavs play basketball (love the game), etc...I'll take that little snide remark!!
midlolady - May 19, 2006 01:05 AM (GMT)
I feel the exact same way.....I think we have Elliott-itis
AgentScully - May 19, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
I've been going slightly insane all day long. Can get my butt up off the computer to do anything constructive. Love all the Elliott-ness.
mskday - May 19, 2006 01:22 AM (GMT)
Me too, me too! I tell myself I'm staying off the computer for awhile, but then I keep coming back! It has really helped lift the sadness. But at this point I just can't go back & listen to his songs yet. For some reason that just makes me sadder.
dcmdf - I know it hurts now, but it will get better. Just remember you're in good company.
jensolo5 - May 19, 2006 01:23 AM (GMT)
I'm wearing my damn CD out. I want original music, man!
zekbee - May 19, 2006 01:40 AM (GMT)
I've been listening to Elliott's mp3's on my iPod nonstop, and I keep taking breaks at work to read messageboards, search for news articles about Elliott...we have a major deadline at work and I am being SOOO bad! We all need a passion, I guess :)

And I think it's TERMINAL!! I have been so bad the past week. I have so many things I SHOULD be doing but all I do is sit at this damn computer flying around from site to site trying to find out what's going on with E and what I might possibly have missed in the last 3 minutes that I was reading another article!!!
realitymom - May 19, 2006 03:51 AM (GMT)
Guilty here! I am addicted to anything Elliott....whether listening to him, or watching what I've recorded or what I can find on the internet....primarily these boards! lol I have to force myself away from the computer so I don't feel like such a crappy mommy! My 4yr. old said "You'll see him on Tuesday mama, let's play!" Well, that made me cry for 2 reasons....the obvious, I WON'T see Elliott on Tuesday & how bad is it that my kid has to request playtime with her mommy? (hmmmm, how sad is it that I listed my obvious reason for crying as not seeing Elliott vs. my kid's playtime request?) oooohhhhhhh, I'm in bad shape! :o
Estrella77 - May 19, 2006 03:53 AM (GMT)
So glad to know I'm not alone. I've been eating up every word, video clip, photo, you name it, that I can find of Elliott. I'm going to miss him so much next week, and can't wait for his CD...

SFCDADDY - May 19, 2006 03:57 AM (GMT)
My husband said that I'm getting on his nerves because I have monopolized his laptop since Elliott made the top three...and I can't get up without grabbing the laptop, and going straight to the boards for new pixs, download songs, gossip, you name it...and I don't get enough sleep either because I may go to bed 1am-ish....SAD, JUST SAD...
love4myboyelliott - May 19, 2006 03:58 AM (GMT)

Hey all, I have been struck with this strange affliction also. Ever since audition it has gotten progressively worse.
Last night I was so upset, feeling better today, I have been on this damn computer ALL DAY, going from here to there, reading what I can...aahhggrrh.
But I am truly obsessed, and it has never happpened to me before either.
Rather strange, isn't it?

I'm still horribly bummed that Elliott has been voted off already, so yeah, reading up on all these interviews and articles and stuff has been great therapy. :D
