Yes, georgiafan1, I'm going. Both my daughters are taking me for my birthday today. It was supposed to be a surprise but my husband goofed-up and gave it away. Can't tell you how excited I am. I have missed Elliott here in San Diego both with the Idol tour and his appearance at House of Blues in June. In both instances I had to be out of town. Finally, I'm going see and hear him.

Last night was an appearance at the Wavehouse during which Elliott sang 4 songs from his CD. His voice was incredible. He is still the humble, sweet guy from AI despite his success. I've been waiting for some time to see him in person and to be in San Diego on my birthday was unbelieveable. When it was my turn to have a picture taken with Elliott, I said, "Elliott, do you remember during the Idol tour when you were presented with a picture album of the 'Secret Society of Oldies' along with pictures of Israeli fans?" He said "Oh, yes." I said, "Well, I'm in that album." He said, "Really! Are you from Israel?" He was so adorable. I said, "No, from San Diego." I gave him a big hug and then he autographed the poster I purchased. When he asked my name I told him Anne and asked is it Ann. I said no with an e from the Old Testament. He then asked, "Are you Jewish?" I replied that I'm not. I thanked him for the autograph and asked for another hug. He obliged. I gave him a big squeeze and wished him well.

That's it! It could not have been a better birthday and my daughters, one of whom is having her 2nd baby in 3 weeks, we're so happy to see me meet Elliott. In fact, I forget which daughter told Elliott that I'm a big fan and talk about him every day. He laughed.

He looks you straight in the eye when you talk to him and listens intently. He is good looking, beauitul skin and eyes.

I wanted to tell him my grandaughter who will be 11 in October is diabetic diagnosed at age 5, but, I had taken so much time so I'll save it for the next time.

I just went to the KHTS link and there are two pictures, #'s 169 and 170. I can't believe it! #169 is the back of my head and the other is, well, shall I say horrible of me but great of Elliott.

I have pictures but I am so limited on the computer I will have my daughter post them as soon as I can. Didn't even know the Wavehouse existed. I was back in the crowd during his performing but I didn't mind much with the meet and greet to follow.

Love this version of Train Wreck! And, maybe someone has already mentioned this, but who's this guitarist who's playing with Elliott? I actually think they pair up much better. Anybody?

the guitar player is elliott's buddy marty schwartz. I thought they had a great vibe together!!! He seemed a little more like a soul r&b infuenced guitar player. russell is great, but seems a little more rock influenced. the show was great!!! and they had great energy performing.

I lOVED these videos..the whole gig seemed very chilled & laid back..nice. I agree with you effin, Marty complimented Elliott really well (nothing against Russel of course, he's a cutie), it's just Marty seemed a bit more R&B & a little less R&R.
