Other than seeing Elliott at #1 (OK, sometimes #2) my favorite thing about watching the vh1 countdown recently is the addition of this kid Paolo Nutini these past few weeks. I really like him. Why, I wonder, do the top songs end up being lip gloss, party like a rock star, and the rest of that crap when there are such better alternatives.

Jackie, I love Paolo Nutini's music. I have him in my MP3 player as I type this. Right now my fave track is Alloway Grove but the whole album is excellent.
Do you like Ray LaMontagne..I'm dying to see him perform live.

You absolutely want it. I had a shuffle forever and kept waiting and waiting getting a new iPod for this phone to come out so I could just have one thing with everything on it. Then when I realized it was AT&T only, I changed my mind about getting one because I'd have to switch companies. Then I accidentally played with one at the Apple store and I was hypnotized and brought it to the cashier. The only bad thing is I can't have my WFY ringtone anymore. Huge drawback, IMO.
But about Ray LaMontagne, I didn't know anything about him until he was on the iTunes "listeners who bought this also bought" section one time. I don't know much about him other than I really like Trouble. I've been so into Elliott's career I've been bad about keeping up with other music.

Didn't get the i-phone for my birthday just a pretty good hangover instead.
I played around with it in the store the other day...*sigh* it was love at first handle. So sexy & slick & clever & cool & I'm running out of appropiate adjectives to describe it.
I'm stuck with Verizon for another year & I'm not paying the $175 they want for me to break the contract. So, I'll wait.
Hey maybe they'll come out with an E-phone... :elliottcap:
