OK, Elliottcrazy, it's time to come out of hiding, girl! The Jag's loss to the Colts MUST be put behind you and you need to move forward. Tomorrow is your big day, and I want you in top form. Shake it off and prepare to be Yaminized. Where are you? I want a play by play. What are you wearing? After Chicago, I implore you to go with a comfortable shoe! My show was October 5th and just yesterday my wounds were completely healed from 19 hours in never-before worn high heeled boots.

Ok.. I'm HERE & ready to go!! I just spoke to Rick he's at the airport about 45 mins from boarding as I type this....can't wait to meet him & SandyB & AngELL & anyone else planning on being there.
JB...you crack me up..do you know I spent the best part of yesterday trying to find the perfect pair of high heeled boots to wear..( brown suede rouched ones to be exact) but had no luck. So no blisters for me :) I still don't know what I'm going to wear CANNOT decide...it'll come down to game time. These things are of critical importance as you know dahlink....but in Florida standing in line in 80 degree weather in October doesn't usually add up to much more than shorts & a T....the horror!!!
Oh by the way..what time shall I pick you up from the airport? ;)
Hmmm - October 27, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
LOL! I just bought a "concert outfit" this week, because if I do get my picture taken I want to look reasonably nice. However, my shoes? I'm wearing my old beat up black loafers. I need to be able to stand for x hours (hopefully right next to the stage for E's performance) and when I'm in that possible photo I don't want that "my feet are killing me!" look on my face and feet won't be in said photo.

Oh how I wish you were picking me up from the airport! I almost went to Nashville and then looked at the venue on line and changed my mind. Then I truly considered your show. I'm hoping for ONE MORE show on this tour and keep changing my mind about which one. Each day when the recaps are posted, I realize that whichever show was "last night" is the one I should have gone to.
But never mind all that, lets talk about your clothes. Just wear something that doesn't clash with gorgeous.
:fangirly:
In my opinion, after 10 hours on your feet, there is no perfect high heeled brown suede ruched boot, so quit looking and go with a flat sandal that makes contact with your foot in as few places as possible. (Oh - if I could only have do-overs!)
If you don't smoke, take it up by tomorrow. This seems to be key. When you go indulge, you'll run into the boys. Make Rick and Hubby hold your spot on the stage's 50 yard line and be prepared for dirty looks as you wiggle back into position. The gaps fill quickly so tell them to be firm in holding your spot open.
Now, please fill me in on your devious plot to win his affection.

Smart move. I took a look at my girlfriend's shoes when she first showed up and I wondered what the hell she was thinking. They were hideous. (We've been best friends since 5th grade so it's OK to think that) By 1am I would have traded my LV handbag for them straight across.

I've heard others talking about getting dirty looks etc. after after getting back to their original place by the stage after getting a drink, etc. What's up with that?? Are the people giving dirty looks able to hold out for hours without a drink run, potty run etc?? I don't get it!! What kind of people are they??

As Jackie said, smart move! Comfort over glamor, definitely, lol!!
Jackie, I could have said that as well: I would have traded my LV bag for someone's comfortable shoes that night at the HOB! I noticed Jaime was wearing an insanely flat chic thong sandals. I also understand that she probably doesn't want to tower over Elliott. Sigh...dh is so tall that I have to wear some kind of heels to make me look a little taller next to him, haha!

:fangirly: Yeah, Toni, if I was 5'10" with the majority of that being a long lean leg, I wouldn't worry about a heel ever again.
