Hi everyone!
Last Friday I found TOP20 program on USEN(pronounce:yu-sen,a cable broadcasting radio in Japan).
USEN is not a kind of "regular" radio station but a lot of famous shopping malls or department stores or gyms or restaurants or bars or cafes in Japan subscribe to USEN.
And the program I found constituted from "Tune attracted many listeners (= Tune frequently requested/inquired) and the number of the airing by the main western (US/UK/European) music programs of "USEN" so in other words it's completely original ranking in Japan.

Last week Elliott's WFY was one of "recommendation music" (out of the TOP20 chart).
And then,this week he's #17...without hardly advertising in Japan!!
ALL I CAN SAY IS AMAZING.

Actually I heard WFY at a DIY store,bookstore, and gym (almost every week) in Tokyo and my friends told me they heard WFY at a department store in Umeda,Osaka or huge shopping mall in Sapporo,Hokkaido.
very cool!!

BTW,mixi(Japanese myspace)'s "Elliott Yamin community"'s members are 598...nearly 600.
Newbies(non-AI5 viewers) enter steadily!
(I don't want to compare it with them but for your reference ; even "Daughtry" -they released CD in Japan- has 548 members yet )
And if you can google "Elliott Yamin album" in Japanese language (kata-kana), you can find so many Japanese bloggers put album reviews of "Elliott Yamin" and every blogger praises Elliott's soulful voice.
People who love music know who is THE REAL DEAL :elliottcap:!

Just heard "One Word" at a shopping mall near my house today!!!!!
I was almost jumping around for joy but asked a salesclerk what channel (of USEN = cable radio in Japan) was it (as casually as possible).
Then I rushed to my house and checked the website of cable radio and found Elliott's name in the playlist of R&B channel...
(They have also Paris Bennett's "Dreamin'"!lol)
Anyways,good job USEN :rocker: !
