I don't like it, but it fits in with the rest of the crap we endure on top 40. I'm sure it will do pretty well for her.

On a side note, she forgot her pants again when she went shopping.

Too much stuff to remember, ya'll!

HI Y'all, I won't tell you what I think about Britney Shears! You wouldn't like what I have to say!Now Elliott walks all over her and sings rings around her!I will admitt back in the day when Britney was a great singer I did go to her concert!I think you all can figure out what I think about Britney Shears!I don't like her new single and I don't like her music anymore!I simply don't like Britney anymore! :etrain: 4 LIFE!!!

JackieB - August 30, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
I never liked her much, but I did seem to like her better in pants.

What the???? She's the new female Rick James.

I can't say I hate it; gave it a so-so. Wouldn't buy it.

P.S.: I can't get the picture of her stabbing a car with her umbrella out my head.

Oops, posted twice. I clicked reply and it didn't move the first time.

Well said. I agree.

lindagt - August 31, 2007 12:36 AM (GMT)
She sounds over processed and synthesized - I can see it doing well in clubs as a dance song, but it's not what I'd like to hear on the radio. I wonder what she would sound like singing live ? I have to say the feel of this song reminds me of the feel of her old BF Justin's latest CD - so processed that you hardlly recognize the voice. And yes, I think she's a total skeez!

Rick1965 - August 31, 2007 12:39 AM (GMT)
OOPS...She did it again!

CanadianFan - August 31, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
Such a sad, sad case. I feel for her children.

As far as I understand, there isn't often an opportunity to hear Britney singing live. She has been accused of lip synching many of her performances.

realitymom - August 31, 2007 01:37 AM (GMT)
I actually kinda like it. The beat is good, but I am not lovin the synthesizer all over her voice....& the chorus is the worst part, IMO. Seems to me though, that her music should be the least of her focus right now. This girl is one big mess & for her boys sake, I pray she is able to get her priorities straight.

ElliottRocks06 - August 31, 2007 08:14 AM (GMT)
It's too hard to listen to the song and try and not think about how she has turned out. I find it ironic how most of the idols could sing circles around her.

80 BRITNEY SPEARS Gimme More 108 0 108 1.062

She already has 108 spins and this was just released yesterday. She is going #1 unfortunately.

One station in Louisiana played it 32 times last night, now that is just insane.

chloewannabee - August 31, 2007 12:54 PM (GMT)
I am listening to it now for the first time, and with any luck, for the last time!

The thought of what the video will look like is scary! And
what the h3!! are all those strange animal sounds? The short span of "actual" singing, doesn't even sound like her. Sounds more like early Madonna.
It is truly sad that crap like this will probably be a mega hit

isn't she from Louisianna?

AvivaDove - August 31, 2007 02:02 PM (GMT)
Call me narrow minded, but I won't even listen to it.

Britney, Paris, Lindsay and Nicole are horrible people. I won't buy any of their music or watch any of their movies. They drive drunk, endanger others, do drugs, cause public scenes, go to jail and or rehab and are even more rich and famous for doing those things.

It makes me mad that they're so rich and famous for doing negative things when Elliott has to work so hard to get where he is. It makes me even more proud of Elliott. He's climbing the ladder of success based on talent, hard work and sincerity, not thoughtless criminal behavior.

Sorry to ramble.

^^Welcome to my world! I gotta watch my hero/favorite singer get ignored by the mainstream market while they go to number one. He's not even as popular as Elliott

Oh, okay.

It's funny, when I first heard Sexyback I thought it was Britney Spears. This sounds like it but it really is her :rotfl:

Song is bad but no worse than the other crap on the radio right now.
Is anyone else tired of the Britney 'hatefest'? I mean, her performance last night at the MTV awards wasn't great but what's worse is the salivating over how bad it was...& how she's apparently "out of shape" & "jiggling like Jello"...well is she's fat then I must be a whale & i'm only 125lbs. I thought she looked healthy..especially after having 2 children. I suppose if we are using Kate Moss or Paris Hilton as a measuring tool we could definately put Brit in the obese category.
As for her performance..I thought she just looked terrified..& who would blame her after being b***h slapped by the press & everyone else in the industry for the past 2 years. Ok..she shaved her head...and? & she wigged out on some press photographers car..I probably would have done more than that if I'd have been in her shoes.
It's kind of gross how much 'fun' people are having tearing this girl to pieces...last time I checked she wasn't fighting dogs, or being arrested for drunk driving or shop lifting.

I didn't expect to see much gloating over her performance on the Train but sure enough Brit has a knack of bringing the worst out in everybody....I feel really bad for her but more disappointed in the 'pleasure' that people are getting out of trashing another human being.

i'm just over it.

I agree that the press has gone overboard with their remarks. She just needs to get help so that she can be their for herself and her family. I do actually feel bad for her even though I don't care for her music. As you said, basic courtesy and caring about how we treat another person is really important.

I would rather listen to Umbrella than this song. This is just a bad song.

I have never cared for Britney’s style (not a pop fan) and this is more of the same.

Music aside, I do feel bad for any young person who is dragged through the industry and treated like a cash cow by the moguls. It is not surprising she has turned out to be such a personal wreck. I hope she can get her life together and find stability.

I hope someone is looking after her children and their future. Hopefully they will have a childhood and grow to be stable productive adults. From the little I pay attention to celebrity news, they seem to be living in one hell of a nightmare that no child should have to endure.

I could not agree more. I have never cared for her music. But, the way the media posts her every move is really disgusting. Sure she has made mistakes, but you have to feel for someone whose entire life is dragged through the media. I saw the video of her trying to get out of court and it was awful. Granted, she could probably do more to shield her self, but you have to wonder why her story seems to be the top of every media hounds list. Are we that shallow a society that this is news to us? I think not, but some days it seems like it.

I hope the girl gets the help she needs. Something is wrong there --where is her support group or is she so stubborn that everyone has abandoned helping her? She may have to hit rock bottom.

It is a sad story.

If there was any justice in the world, they would take those poor little boys and give them to the Colman family. Paul always said he wanted to adopt needy children, and although he meant from Africa, I think that Britney's kids are in a pretty hellish environment as well.

Both she and Kevin are terrible parents. No kids should ever have to go through life without any competant people to raise them.

I am not a Britney fan as such but I do have her new album BLACKOUT and I have to admit I really love it!
I like 'Gimme More' and I really like 'Piece Of Me', it's so damn catchy.
