There's not much I can add to all the great recaps, and my pictures pale in comparison, but i'll post them anyway...
Got there around 5:30 and made our way over to the arena. There was quite a line , but it moved really fast, once they opened the doors. The place was huge! I chose to stand down on the floor, while Auntie Sheryl and her friend Debbie decided to sit in the stands.
As I made my way down to the floor, it wasn't hard to find the etrainers! Crissy was waving like crazy, and even tho we never met, I could easily pick her out since she was wearing the shirt I made for her. Saw that signature newsboy cap, and knew immediately, it was Rick.Met cfans and onlyfor elliott for the first time, saw itslate, elliott!!fan, berniefan, robyn, and I am sorry if I left any names out! Later on I saw millie858, met Taratova, and a few people from "emaniacs". Saw Neil, Elliott's boyhood friend from Richmond, I am sure there must have been more etrainers there, cause there was a LOT of E-love going on!
So before the show started "skeery jones" from z-100 and a girl from another station, came out on stage to just get the crowd revved up. They had a bunch of people scattered around that had free Great adventure tix to give out. They were looking for big fans!. But we were squished in the middle of everyone, and he didnt see us,. So I kinda went back to where one of the ticket guys was standing, and called Crissy over. When the guy saw our almost matching shirts, he motioned to Skeery, and we each won a free pass. I knew I wouldnt be using it, so I gave it to Crissy, cause what good would 1 pass do her? She has a hubby( who takes very good pics, btw) and 3 kids. OMIGOD!!!!Crissy, you better hurry and post your pics! Wait till you all see them!!
Anyway, Elliott was just phenomenal.
Note to DONNYSGIRL********** Crystal, you would have completely LOST it when E sang "Ghetto Boy"!!!!!! You think Richmond was good? It was even better than Donny last night! Seriously, and you know I wouldn't say that lightly!
The concert just got better and better with each song, the only bad part was....
It didn't last long enough!!!!Another 10 or 12 songs would have made all the difference!
So after the show, we all went back to where we thought he would come out, but alas, it didn't happen. Sheryl texted him, and he sent a security guard out for her. She was able to see him for a short time, but he said thy were whisking him out and he felt bad that he couldn't come out to see everyone. So we started to make our way out of the park, but were going the complete wrong way. We turned around to go the other way, when all of a sudden, we see Elliott walking briskly with a couple of the band members and a security guard. Sheryl noticed him and calld out, so he turned around,and said something like Oh I have time for a few hugs1 h ran back and gave me a big hug, then Crissy, then Sheryl. He said he was going to go on a few rides!! :rotfl: And then he was off.
So that was a perfect ending to our Great Adventure!

Are you kidding Chloe - the arbitrary date on your pics is part of their charm! Thanks for the pics - they are great! And glad you got a brief hug before E hopped a plane down to SC for tonights' concert! Love your inside recaps with "Auntie Sheryl" - there's always something extra to the story!

Now that's funny. When we were getting ready to leave Elliott walked by very briskly and Just Waved. Someone said poor Chloe, she just missed Elliott. Poor Chloe? Poor Us lol, we didn't get any hugs. I'll have to agree about that horseshoe :rotfl:

Thanks for the recap and the pics. Love the sign!! How'd I miss it, Glad you and Crissy won those tickets. Six Flags is nice when they do October Fest.
