I was listening to this last night while my son, Alec (12y) was in the room. Alec is a music lover. He plays the guitar and drums. He loves Classic Rock (Zeppelin, etc...) and hard core, emo, rap
When this video was finished playing, Alec had tears in his eyes and said this was the best thing he had ever seen and heard in his life.

I showed this to my husband. He voted for Elliott on Idol, saw him in person twice, kept commenting on how nice Elliott was, how he was always smiling , happy and appreciative. My husband never made any major comments on Elliott's singing and performing. It was always about Elliott's great , humble personality.
When my husband saw this video, he was in awe. He said something like ,''Wow! Look at at that. He's come a long way from singing kariokie in bars! This guy is a star.''

Oh and Itslate, thanks SO much for posting this video.
Thanks everybody for the detailed recaps and beautiful pictures. You made us all feel like we were there with you.
I was really upset that I couldn't go. You all helped to ease the pain. I won't be going to any of Elliott's concerts on his current tour either. They're on school nights. I sure hope I can meet up with all of you when he performs someday at Tweeter in NJ or Wachovia in Philly. It's only a matter of time before he performs at such huge venues.

I've seen him live 4 times not counting AI... well you all know, I've heard I guess every interview, seen him sing WFY on TV... but for some reason, this was my absolute favorite. I was soooo upset when it didn't come out. I'm so glad someone posted the sound to it.

OK, that was one helluva performance. I've also been to four of his shows and I gotta say, this is the first time I've seen Elliott really, really enjoy singing that song in the same way he enjoys singing OW. Finally, finally, he broke loose and gave it that true Elliott Yamin soul. Love, loved, loved what he did at the end.
have to go watch it again. thanks for putting this together for us!!

That was great! I loved seeing how pleased he looked with himself at the end. Somehow it reminded me of the end of 'Trouble'.

I'm so happy for you Carole that you were able to dub in the sound. I know how terribly disappointed you were when you discovered that the audio was off on your camera. Many of us there felt that this was the best performance ever of WFY; having the video means we can go back to that magical moment any time we want. Thank you so much!
