Edit: Oh yeah, on the date it says 09/20/07 but when you are buying the tickets it actually says November 19, so it's all good.

Don't think there's any point in having a presale, considering its general admission.

Haha yeah you are right. I am just twitchy about these things. Want to have the tickets purchased as soon as possible, just to know I have them. Elliott makes me slightly deranged like that.

Not too crazy about the extra $9.50 per ticket Ticketmaster adds on for sur-charges/handling charges/processing charges/any-excuse-they-can-think-of-to-charge-us-more charges, but oh well, as my friend who's going with me told me, Elliott is worth it :evilgrin:

The concert in Toronto is in little Italy. College street has many many cool restaurants if anyone wants to do a dinner and show. It's the perfect place to get together before the show. I go there almost every other day, I'll look into a place to meet if there is an interest.

I would love to meet up before the Toronto show but I live an hour and a half away from Toronto and I can't get away from work until 4:30or 5pm. Argh!!

I hope somehow I get to meet some of you that evening!!

I grew up a few blocks from the Mod Club so it'll be interesting to see how the neighbourhood has changed!!

I am so upset I'm not going to be there, but even Elliott can't make me brave out two weeks plus of possibly freezing cold weather. (I'd have to visit with family if I was already coming.) Shosh, I'd love to have finally met you and everybody else there (remember the Israeli thread?) I'm getting a little depressed as the time gets near, but I have to hang on to reality. Everybody have a blast!

Sherwood, just so you know, November in Toronto is not generally freezing. It can be a little chilly in November, but its generally still well above freezing. And it seems to get warmer every year (thank you global warning, sigh...)

I'd be into doing dinner beforehanad, except the only problem is, the doors open at 6pm (seems early!), and I want to get there early to try and get a seat (seating is limited, its mostly standing room). So I could get together with others for a mid-afternoon snack (I work close by and could get off early), but I'd want to be at the club by 4:30/5pm.

Oh btw, don't know if anyone else saw it, but there was an a picture ad for Elliott's concert in this week's edition of NOW (NOW is the free weekly in Toronto), this issue should still be around till Wednesday, if anyone wants to have a look.

Sherwood, I PM you on the weekend, I can't find the Israeli thread. it's gone poof. The weather is not too bad actually, I suspect global warming is really happening.

Naberh, do you have a scanner? Can you scan that ad/page? I'll bet everyone would like to see it, as there are so many concerns about lack of advertising for the concerts. Thanks!

And thank you, girls, for the encouragement...if my husband came with me I would do it, but he wants to wait until the summer to visit and of course I'd rather have his company than not, so barring his surprising me with a couple of November plane tickets, I guess we're not coming now. He so dreads flying that there's no way he'd want to move up the date, and I'm sure I'll have problems with him trying to wiggle out of the summer visit as well.

SHerwood, I do have a scanner. I'll try and scan the ad and post it, not sure I can do it today, as I'm at work now, and have a meeting tonight. the ad is fairly small btw, maybe 3 inches by 2 inches, something like that.

Ok, here is my attempt to scan the Elliott ad from NOW magazine. Not my favourite pic of him, but it was fun to see this staring out at me from NOW, which I read every week.
