I am so lovin' this great offering from Sundance channel. If you love music, and that would include most everyone aboard the E-Train, check it out! It's on Thursday evenings.
Sundance features 3 artists each episode in musical styles all across the map. And they each perform about 3 songs in the incredible Abbey Road studios (yes, THE Abbey Road) and talk about their music. It's so cool to get that studio experience. It's about the only place on TV where the music and musicians are the entire focus - no other personalities involved.
So far, some of my favorites have been Corrine Bailey Rae, Paul Simon, Norah Jones, Shaun Colvin, Wynton Marsalis, for starters. Also have had Gnarls Barkley, John Mayer, Dave Mathews, Jamiroquai, Natasha Bedingfield, and Snow Patrol.
