I referred someone to a thread and realized the links no longer work. I had just downloaded them recently, saved them on my computer. So these wonderful videos don't disappear from site... I've since uploaded them all to megaupload to enjoy. They are wonderful high quality videos and some are very large. One is almost 300 megs. If you don't already have them, you must get them! I just downloaded and watched 'Somebody to Love' results night. Cried again...can't help myself. For some reason I find the 'Elliott' part of that particular show very cruel. First they show the video with Claudette and then make him sing...I'm sure he was positive he was going home that night. Well, they certainly had our attention if that's what they were after.

You're welcome all. I just watched the one with him Singing Knocks me Off my Feet. It brought tears to my eyes when I heard what Stevie Wonder had to say. I'm so glad Yamingirl left it all in. It's about the moments we remember ;)

There is a limit to what you can download with the free account. I thought it was three downloads a day/IP address. I didn't realize the file size would count.

For the life of me, I can't find anything that talks about and compares the three types of accounts they have. It used to come up with the download screen.

I'll see what else I can find out.

I like megaupload because their free accounts give you like 3 months of storage, while others are a lot less. And it lets me keep track of ALL my uploads with a manager. I have the premium now so these will stay for 2 years.

Are these for Apple computers because while I get the sound, I get a scrambled "dizzy" picture. Do I need to download a "codex?" I'm not very computer literate so I appreciate any help I can get.

I just checked and found that some easily detected by the extension are wmv, playable on Windows Media Player and others.

The avi files are both DivX 5-6 and Xvid 1.1

You probably need the codecs for these

Both are very popular formats, so I would suggest downloading them.

Yes the audio is much lower than the others. I had to raise mine to almost max, but it was fine then. Check your volume controls. Just remember to lower them when you're finished or ELSE :rotfl:

I don't get any audio at all on that week.. :bawl:

Okay, yesterday I downloaded the first week and got audio but not video. Then I read farther down the thread and downloaded the codex files. Worked great. Today I down loaded Top 20 week (it only allows 1 a day). Now I have video but no audio! :no: Any suggestions?
