I was watching all of the fabulous spins for WFY last night after his appearance on L/H, when I noticed that a station in St. Louis, KYKY, that was spinning WFY had also recently played something from Kat McPhee.

I decided to check out Kat's recent activity and I saw this:

This just proves how messed up MTV is. I haven't heard Love Story hitting #20 anywhere, and yet either her song/or video is at MTV?? At least this was nearly 4 in the morning EST.

Kat has been on the TRL countdown on and off for weeks. Her fans are voting like crazy to get her on there. Yay for them.

I suspect there's also a deal with the big labels here. I find it hard to believe that this fanbase, which has gone after Vh1 and Jojo's fiercely, couldn't do the same on MTV. They must have something going with Kat's label.

I applaud organized fan efforts. So, I guess I was just feeling like the song should also be getting some spins for the video to be in voting contention.
